The most arresting visual element of this Elysia styling from Honkai Impact 3rd is the clash between vast white and soft pink. For this shoot, I selected large bouquets of white lily blossoms as the central prop, perfectly echoing that pure sense of fresh white flowers coming into bloom.

First, addressing the overall hair and makeup: recreating that airy, pristine quality required substantial effort in trimming and styling the wig. If not handled carefully, pink hair easily looks unflattering against the skin or feels plasticky; thus, I gave the roots extra volume while feathering the ends so the layered strands naturally framed my facial contours. Blue contact lenses served as the crowning touch; paired with a sheer base makeup, highlighters were subtly applied only to the bridge of the nose and cheekbones, while a gentle rosy blush swept around the eyes to convey natural vitality on camera.

The costume and accessory details also dictated the overall polish of the frame. The three-dimensional headpiece intertwining navy blue and metallic accents features an intricate structure; the sapphire gems required specific angles under the studio lights to refract clean luster, so the lighting technician adjusted the side-top light angle specifically. The deep brown leather gloves boast fantastic texture—their golden armored borders and turquoise geometric line patterns along the cuffs provided a striking grounding contrast against the pure white background. The soft sheen of the leather under the lights contrasted nicely with the gentle petals of the lilies, striking a balance between rigidity and softness.

This session utilized seamless pure white backdrop paper under high-key lighting. The biggest hurdle with pure white backgrounds is that subjects can easily appear flat without adequate depth. To preserve facial contours, the key light was kept relatively low, balanced with reflectors and softboxes to keep facial outlines organic. Because both the wig and lilies were extremely light in color, overexposure under intense lights would wash out fine details entirely. During the shoot, I continually adjusted my head angles, using the stems and foliage of the lilies to cast natural shadow gradations along the edges of my face, adding visual depth to the composition.

Many assume portraying such an ethereal character merely involves standing still and smiling, but physical posture and eye focus are actually critical. Innocence does not equate to emptiness; the eyes must radiate dedicated immersion into the character. As a foreground prop, lilies blur excessively if placed too close to the lens, yet lose their surrounding framing effect if placed too far. I explored diverse close-up compositions—tilting my head slightly so petals veiled part of my chin, or letting flower buds act as leading lines toward the eyes. The entire process felt more like capturing a tranquil sanctuary than forced posing.

The final photos fulfilled my vision for the white-and-pink theme: clean and luminous without extraneous color clutter. Although combining studio shooting with floral staging demanded considerable energy, seeing the final texture made every fine adjustment worthwhile. I hope this anime cosplay creation carrying the fragrance of lilies brings everyone a refreshing visual experience.
