The character I am portraying for this Anime cosplay session is Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd, and I specifically selected these few drawing and aiming movements as the main visual for this shared set. The pink short hair is custom-made, using high-temperature fiber that is very easy to manage, and the bangs were trimmed to be relatively light, giving a bit of breathing room to the forehead. For the makeup, I chose a brownish-pink eyeshadow paired with blue colored contact lenses to make my gaze look more aligned with that confident yet gentle perspective. The shoulder and arm armor pieces are made of composite materials with a matte finish on the surface, which simulates a metallic friction texture sheen. Paired with the purple-and-black lining and white skirt hem, the sense of layering is incredibly strong.
During the shoot, we intentionally chose a softbox for lighting, and this angle perfectly cast the layers of light onto the hair strands and armor edges, enhancing the silhouette. The bow and arrow prop in my hand is the most heavy-duty piece of the entire outfit. When the internal purple light strip lights up, it coordinates with the overall pink-themed atmosphere, keeping the colors highly unified. Using a telephoto lens to capture this half-body leading lines composition avoids wide-angle perspective distortion on one hand, and on the other hand, compresses the visual focus onto Elysia's confident smile and the exact moment the bowstring is drawn, preserving the high tension right before firing. The coordination between the cosplay props and the costume required constant postural adjustments so that the props wouldn't block my facial features while still looking natural. I hope the makeup and styling prepared this time allow friends who love Elysia to see her characteristic agility in a combat state.
