The theme of this shoot was very clear: to present the hazy feeling of the humanoid computer when she has not been fully activated. The scene was chosen in this space filled with blue neon lights and discarded equipment, where the floor covered with silver tin foil and plastic film creates a cold, mechanical, and slightly chaotic laboratory atmosphere. During the shoot, I intentionally let the bandages wrap loosely around my arms and legs, matching this white cloth-strip outfit to create a sense of vulnerability beneath the mechanical shell.
The cat ears and twin tails on top of my head are the character's signature features, and the texture of the blonde wig handled the light reflection quite well. The cool blue-purple light source hits the white bandages and silver floor, creating a strong color contrast. In this environment where warm and cold interweave, the character's state needs to be somewhat restrainedāneither too lively nor entirely like an inanimate object.
In terms of poses, I referenced the character's state of being full of curiosity yet deeply confused. Whether biting the cloth strip in my mouth or sitting cross-legged on the cold computer chassis, I was trying to convey a sense of clumsiness as she learns how to become human. As an Anime cosplay attempt, I am very satisfied with the visual layering brought by the bandage style. Although the shooting process was a bit tiring because I had to utilize cold, hard equipment like chairs and computer cases to find the perfect composition, the final outcomeāwhich is this set of photos you seeābeautifully balances the mechanical feel with the softness of a young girl.
Regarding the use of props, the multimeter on the floor and the red-and-white road cones are not meaningless decorations, but are used to reinforce the deja vu of this wasteland research lab. Sitting on this black mesh computer chair, I tried my best to relax my body, combining tension and relaxation in the frame.
The makeup features a dewy base combined with red pupils, giving the character a look of confusion as if she has just woken up. During the shoot, I found myself wondering: if one day code truly possesses body temperature, would her perception of the world begin with skin contacting the air, or with seeing the very first beam of light? The photography style this time actually leans toward a desaturated, cool minimalism. Instead of intentionally using a large aperture to blur the background, the entire cluttered room was included in the frame to maximize the environmental atmosphere of the setting through Atmospheric photography.
For the presentation of this costume, especially those raw-edged white bandages, the texture looks great under the blue light. No complex movements are needed; just a quiet look can convey many subtexts of the character's inner heart. I hope everyone enjoys me in this style.
