[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd Wedding Gown Descends, Dreamy May Day Dreamland Cosplay Convention Photos

This batch of Elysia wedding dress convention photos from May Day Dreamland is finally edited and archived. Thinking back to when I put on this white dress at the convention live scene, just organizing the skirt hem and adjusting the headpiece took quite a lot of time.

The visual core of this look lies in the pure white wedding dress style and a massive amount of intricate lace and bow elements. To restore the character setting, the wig selected was a light pink long wavy hairstyle with gradient processing at the ends, which, combined with the hair accessories at the bottom and the lightweight veil, made the overall styling look translucent enough under the white overhead lights of the convention. In terms of tailoring, the upper body is a waist-cinching bandeau style, using massive pink and purple bows on the chest as a visual center, paired with golden metal decorations that refract excellent luster under different angles of the venue lights. The material of the skirt hem has a certain crispness while naturally spreading out during twirls or poses.

Many friends pay close attention to the white over-knee long stockings and lace-up high heels paired on the legs. From a compositional perspective, white stockings paired with white clothing beautifully create an overall sense of purity, while the lace-up design of the high heels visually extends the leg lines. On the day of the photo shoot, a single-leg raised standing posture was specially designed. To maintain a center of gravity balance, one must rely on tightening the core muscles and precise control of the feet over the shoes. The blue-and-white bouquet held in hand also carries a certain weight; lifting it with one hand while striking a beautiful posture actually took quite a few shots to pick the steadiest frame.

The floating pink petals in the frame were added in post-processing to match the live atmosphere. Because the lighting in the convention hall was highly uniform, to prevent the petals from looking out of place, I intentionally lowered the saturation and brightness during post-processing adjustments, striving to blend them with the originally shot raw convention environment. The flower cluster beneath the feet during shooting used the props from the scene; the pink, purple, and white flowers stacked together just happened to prop up the pure white skirt hem.

Let's talk about the version in the second image where a few cute chibi plush toys were added. Thinking of this creative idea at the time was also hoping to give the frame a bit of playful interaction. Hanging the plushies on the arm or putting them in the flower cluster indeed added a few touches of the unique cuteness belonging to the character Elysia. However, Image 2 serves more as material retention; personally, I prefer the purity of Image 1 in the final photos, without any extra interference, which completely presents the texture of the costume itself, the details of the stockings, and the overall dynamic tension.

This dress was actually highly eye-catching in the exhibition hall. When walking, the skirt hem would drag on the ground, inevitably catching some dust and wrinkles, but fortunately, the white material isn't that noticeable under strong light. Although the process of organizing the wig and adjusting the skirt hem details was tedious, being able to appear in front of the lens in a complete posture and leave an impression on the audience visiting the exhibition that day made these preparation works look immensely valuable. This set of convention photos from May Day Dreamland counts as a serious interpretation of the character, as well as a phase summary of my own outfit coordination and overall expressiveness in this costume. Without overly fancy words, I hope this dedication to the costume, makeup, props, and shooting tension can be felt by everyone.
