[Seraphine cosplay] Nantong Anime Convention Cool Swimsuit Convention Photos

Attending the Nantong Miavel Poolside Expo this time, I specifically brought out a swimsuit cosplay for Seraphine. Since we gathered abundant footage that day, I curated and compiled them into this dedicated series of convention photos.

First, let's talk about the styling ensemble. Seraphine's iconic pink hair packs an immense visual punch against the turquoise water backdrop; to ensure individual hair strands held layered dimension even submerged, I spent considerable time pre-styling and remained mindful of preventing tangles once entering the water. For eye makeup, blue contact lenses were paired with signature star face decals beneath the eyes as the crowning touch; waterproof cosmetics were paramount given the prolonged water immersion. In terms of wardrobe, I opted for a light blue halter-neck bikini paired with black shorts, which offered effortless mobility while walking along the poolside or lounging on deck chairs, while gracefully accentuating bodily contours. White over-ear headphones hung around my neck, a white folding fan rested in hand, and the prop crew brought over a giant pink frosted-donut swim ring—the vibrant clash of blue and pink infused the entire palette with kinetic bounce.

The shooting session burned far more physical stamina than anticipated. Maintaining natural facial expressions in the water demands intense focus: because the swim ring had high buoyancy, the slightest shift sent it spinning across the surface, requiring me to constantly brace with my arms or clamp it with my legs to anchor my center of gravity, which truly gave my core a rigorous workout. Trying to keep my eyes open beneath the surface was challenged by harsh glares and light refractions, prompting the photographer onshore to continuously scout optimal angles while guiding my chin tilt and shoulder relaxation.

To showcase varied moods, I cycled through diverse poses. Resting chest-down atop the swim ring remains the quintessential classic, though holding my breath to keep poised neck-and-shoulder lines proved quite exhausting. Later, I explored waving greetings to the lens, as well as tilting my head back while brandishing the fan. Transitioning back onshore, I sat cross-legged across a white plastic lounger to elongate visual proportions while casually adjusting the headphones—capturing a sweet balance between character liveliness and laid-back holiday ease. Water glistening across hair and skin created a crystal-clear luminescence under natural sunlight, yielding finished frames that left me thoroughly delighted.

The convention atmosphere was fantastic. Despite constant poolside crowds with photographers and visitors watching, the moment the camera rolled, I locked straight into character. Multiple photographers approached to exchange creative concepts, discussing compositions and chiaroscuro lighting together, making the entire journey deeply enriching and joyous.

Curating these shots during post-production, I found the blue-and-pink harmonic palette exceptionally captivating, with water ripples adding wonderful dynamic beauty.
