[Sunna Cosplay] Cat-Girl Capture Plan in Zenless Zone Zero

This time I cosplayed Sunna from Zenless Zone Zero. Before shooting this set, the focus was placed on restoring character traits, hoping to capture her lazy yet agile cat-like vibe through the lens.

First, starting with the wig. This mint green wig has very delicate hair fiber texture; the bangs' sections needed careful trimming to reveal the eye contours. To pair with the Cat ear outfit styling, the airiness at the top shouldn't be too heavy, and sideburns on both sides needed to flatter the face shape just right. The contact lenses chosen were a moderately saturated green with high transparency, capable of refracting chrysoberyl/cat's eye gemstone-like luster under natural light alone.

The core of the makeup lies in the eye makeup. To reflect the agility of a cat-like girl, the eyeliner was slightly winged and elongated, which paired with the curliness of upper and lower lashes instantly made the gaze lively. The base makeup chose a matte texture to reduce facial shine and deliver a clear, clean visual effect. Lip color was a soft nude pink, pairing nicely with the overall light palette.

Speaking of costume details, the large red bowtie at the neckline serves as the visual centerpiece of the whole look. Its material has a slight shimmering velvet texture, tied tightly to maintain shape structure. The gold bell hanging below is highly eye-catching, producing a crisp tinkling sound when walking. To restore the character's setting, the collar ruffles were crafted in double layers. The small ghost badge on the chest and the chest slit design also retained original features; although ensuring collar fit required attention during shooting, these details truly enriched the character.

During shooting, I intentionally added some hand-drawn stickers to the frame for Anime-style photography, such as white pixel kittens and doodle lines between the eyebrows. These embellishments enhance the ACG attributes of the whole photo, making final shots feel more narrative. In framing and composition, I kept the subject's head near the frame center as much as possible to conveniently showcase the layering of Cat ear outfit pieces and hair accessories.

Regarding my understanding of Sunna, she possesses a temperament somewhere between cute and cool. Thus during shooting, besides smiling at the camera, I also maintained some \"poker-face\" states to let the eyes express emotions. This outfit shows exceptionally vibrant colors under ample lighting, where the green wig, red bowtie, and black-and-white base colors form a fantastic visual contrast.

The biggest difficulty encountered during shooting was likely stability when wearing the cat ear headpiece. The cat ears have considerable volume and weight, requiring thorough securing to prevent shifting. Also, that bell often swung into the lens frame while walking, requiring slight adjustments to standing position and angle.

Overall, the photo creation process this time went quite smoothly, and I truly enjoy the sense of achievement in gradually restoring a character step by step. Every time adjusting the bangs' angle, every time confirming the contact lenses' orientation, and the final moment of slipping on the coat and tying the bowtie make me feel like this character is right before my eyes in Coser daily life. I hope these finished photos in my hands convey my affection for this character.
