[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd Herrscher of Human: A Pure White Smile Beneath a Dreamy Style Wedding Dress

The Uwowo version of this costume took immense effort right from the initial fitting. The dress body layers an abundance of lace, tulle, and ribbon bows; while this multi-tiered design is gorgeous, it carries significant physical weight, and the delicate material snags at the slightest friction. We chose a shooting studio featuring an all-around glossy reflective floor to simulate the visual texture of water or ice. Because the reflective surface was pristine, every pose change required wiping away dust and scattered flower petals to avoid ruining the mirrored reflection. The white platform high heels put my balance to the test; paired with white stockings and a high-placed leg ring, standing and walking for long stretches made my legs ache, yet I pushed through to keep the character's elven, upright posture intact.

The long pink wig also demanded extensive styling—its light, airy fluffiness directly dictated the dreamy style mood of the photos, so the stylist spent considerable time layering and fixing it in place. On set, ample cool blue ambient lighting was laid down, combined with a clean white key light to establish a translucent, luminous look. The white bouquet in my hand was hand-picked; to match the scene's tonal mood, it had to be immaculately white without any stray tint. The hardest elements to control were the long bridal veil behind me and the voluminous sleeves. Being so lightweight, an assistant had to constantly step just out of frame between takes to shape them for a natural, flowing drape. Many poses were surprisingly exhausting; for instance, crossing my legs on the chair required keeping my core and muscles tense to ensure the smooth silhouette of the stockings.

The focus of this makeup was reshaping the eye contours—carefully shifting eyeshadow placement multiple times to achieve an innocent yet lively gaze. Since the overarching color grade of the set is cool-toned, post-processing targeted skin translucency with care. Throughout the photoshoot, I prioritized eye expression; with the costume being so opulent, a vacant look would completely lose the character's charm. Coordinating specific angles—sometimes gazing upward, sometimes looking straight into the lens—effectively conveyed her signature poise and approachable warmth. Wearing such an intricate ensemble under intense studio lights for hours was physically draining. Yet seeing an outfit that looked stunning even laid flat translate into such clean, elegant final shots—bolstered by superb light and shadow depth—made the whole atmosphere come together seamlessly. This look is also perfect for highlighting the lower-body styling with white stockings and the leg ring, bringing out intricate garment details. Navigating adjustments on set deepened my understanding of her character; maintaining poise and grace is truly no easy feat.
