[Elysia Cosplay] The Dreamy Bride of Honkai Impact 3rd's Ode Among Flowers

The moment I put on Elysia's "Ode Among Flowers" bridal attire and stood in front of the camera, what I felt most was a sense of gentleness and serenity coming from the character herself.

The material and cut of the outfit are major highlights of this cosplay. The white satin tube top section is structured without looking bulky, and the heart-shaped cutouts on both sides of the waist, combined with the bows on the sides, add a touch of youthful agility without losing any elegance. The most eye-catching feature is undoubtedly the small golden bell at the neckline; it is not only the visual focal point but also lends a lightweight sense of ritual to the character's movements. The skirt, formed by layers of purple tulle with intricate floral lace trim and purple ribbon bows, is very detailed, requiring quite a bit of effort to smooth out the folds to make it drape beautifully during the shoot.

For the hair, I used a short pink wig, complemented by white silk flowers on top and a cascading translucent white veil. This interwoven color language of pink and white is the core tone of the entire bridal concept. In the solid purple background studio, the pink hair, white wedding dress, and light purple skirt created a very soft, harmonious color echo. When the light hits, the white satin reflects a subtle shimmer, while the outer tulle skirt reveals a translucent highlight—a delicate layer of texture that can only be captured by the camera lens on site.

The two set environments I needed to shoot had a rather stark contrast. One was the solid background mentioned earlier, used for clean character close-ups and displaying the visual presentation of the full outfit; the other was a realistic studio set surrounded by fresh flowers. This studio set was decorated with soft white drapes, butterflies, birds, and an abundance of pink and white flowers—stepping into it felt like walking into a genuine wedding back garden. In that scene, I mainly tried actions like subconsciously touching my veil or leaning slightly to gaze at the bouquet. Compared to the proper and upright feel of the solid studio, the flower bushes allowed for a more languid and casual vibe, which perfectly matched the "relaxed wedding" feeling that this outfit aims to express.

In terms of props, I held two different sets. One was a small, round bouquet for everyday use, and the other was a large, extended hoop of flower branches. When holding the long flower branches, my arms needed to maintain an upward curve to prevent the branches from blocking the layers of the skirt. During the shoot, the photographer requested that whether I was standing or sitting, I had to pay close attention to the positioning of my legs. Since the length of the white socks and shoes met right near the knees, if my legs were placed incorrectly, the small golden ornaments on the stockings would be hidden, and it could easily make my legs look less elongated.

Looking back at the final shots from this session, I am still very satisfied with this gentle atmosphere. With pink hair and a white veil, there are no extravagant or exaggerated poses; instead, through the lightweight tailoring, lace, and bows, it perfectly recreates the character's gentle impression under that specific theme. Every time I smoothed the skirt or lifted the veil, it was all to find the most natural body language at the moment the frame froze. The costume material is quite structured and won't sag, so I didn't have to worry too much about it losing its shape due to movement during the shoot. From any angle, the visual elements of this bride cosplay theme are sufficiently rich and complete.
