The focus of today's photos was entirely on refining the hair, makeup, and garment details. After receiving the pink wig, I spent substantial time trimming and thinning it out. As many know, bright pink wigs easily look synthetic or stiff if the shine and hair flow aren't handled carefully, so I textured the layers with styling spray to give the bangs and side locks a natural flow, avoiding any bulky helmet-like look. The lace headband and tiny black accents on top served as the perfect finishing touches, instantly adding depth to the whole look. I also refined the inward curve at the wig tips with a straightener so they would frame my jawline naturally.
To pair with this pink hair, I opted for highly saturated blue contact lenses; this striking complementary contrast creates immense visual impact before the camera. For eye makeup, I steered clear of overly heavy colors, using earth tones as a base, deepening the outer corners, and elongating the eye shape with a blue-black eyeliner pencil while delicately drawing bottom lashes along the lower lid to enhance depth. The base required a clean, luminous finish, so I chose a matte foundation to control glare, paired with a soft pink lip gloss to maintain facial color harmony. I layered setting spray generously, as car interiors can feel a bit stuffy and keeping the makeup pristine and matte was essential.
Now about the outfit: the crisscross black strapping across the chest demands a snug fit and can easily leave marks, so I adjusted it carefully to ensure a seamless contour on camera. The two holographic heart-shaped badges were absolute eye-catchers, catching light with dynamic prismatic shifts. The black leather choker around my neck boosted the ACG aesthetic; getting the right fit was key—too tight looks suffocating, while too loose compromises the crisp delicacy. The fabric carried a subtle pearlescent shimmer that blended harmoniously with the lace patchwork. The dark denim shoulder straps and white lace cuffs also created a wonderful textural contrast.
The shoot actually took place inside a car. I initially worried the confined space would restrict framing, but the black leather seats surprisingly offered a textured, moody backdrop. Natural light filtering through the windows was delightfully diffused—acting like a built-in softbox without harsh shadows. Using my phone's front camera for selfies, experimenting with low angles or a slight downward tilt beautifully accentuated facial contours and garment nuances. To prevent background clutter, I framed tight close-ups focusing on the face and chest accessories. I intentionally kept the white earphone cord in frame to add a relaxed, slice-of-life touch. The cool overall color tone tied in effortlessly with the pink hair and blue eyes for a striking visual contrast.
