Shooting this Sparkle set at Foshan BGM Ichiban Street, the nighttime street neons formed a strong resonance with the cold fireworks in my hand. The character Sparkle inherently carries an Elation attribute, which feels highly immersive when holding fireworks; the dynamic effect of the flying sparks turned out much better on camera than I imagined. The outfit chosen this time features a main red tone paired with black lining and gold trim. Its large sleeve design provides great extension when running or raising my hand to catch the fireworks.

During the shoot, I intentionally stood in the middle of the crosswalk. Coordinated with the well-arranged Japanese-style signs and lanterns behind me, the overall cool-toned night photography vibe instantly came alive. During the actual shoot, the firelight from the fireworks created a relatively soft light source on my face. Controlling the night scene shutter speed and aperture required repeated testing, and photographer NightDiva cooperated with me with great synchronization, ensuring that the camera captured the trajectory of the sparks while leaving catchlights in my eyes.

In post-processing, when handling the contrast between warm and cool light, I dimmed the cyan-blue of the background to set off the vermilion of the character's costume, beautifully pulling apart the visual layers. I also tried different ways of wearing the wig and the mask; after taking off the mask that covered the upper half of my face, the playfulness of my expressions became much stronger. This set took several hours to shoot, and although there was a temperature drop at night, seeing the final photos made it completely worth it. This kind of Anime-style street photography at night truly brings many more random surprises than studio shoots. The smoke and sparks from the burning cold fireworks added a lively, real-world atmosphere to the frame, which serves as a very natural way of environment rendering.
