I finally scheduled a Cosplay fitting for this Sparkle set from Sanfen Wangxiang, quickly putting it on to take a few shots while natural light was still sufficient. As an outfit featuring a red and gold color palette, the luster of the fabric and the overall tailoring are key to determining character accuracy, and this piece certainly did not disappoint upon trying it on.
The main garment's red fabric has a solid thickness and excellent drape. Combined with the gold V-neck splicing and piping, it beautifully highlights the neck and shoulder lines. The bottom half features a short cut, which, together with the slimming cinch of the deep purple wide waist sash, creates a very slim look. The waist sash is also embellished with gold knotted cords and red fluffy flowers, offering rich color-contrast details. I specifically adjusted the thin black strap around my neck so that after tightening, the dangling large gold bell hangs straight over my chest, producing a light clinking sound when walking, which is quite fun.
The sleeve design is a part I really love. The deep purple detached sleeves are embroidered with very fine floral patterns—the gold threads outline cleanly without stray threads, and the five-petal flower motifs exhibit great symmetry. Sheer light pink tulle is spliced below the sleeves, creating a lovely sense of airiness during arm movements so the arms don't look bulky. For this fitting, I also wore the matching purple glossy gloves; this material makes hand contours look more delicate, and paired with the small red cord bells at the wrists, the overall accessory harmony is right on point.
As for props, this fox mask is definitely a huge bonus. The half-red and half-white color scheme carries strong visual impact, the mask surface's glossy finish is smooth, and the star-snowflake pattern on the forehead is detailed. Holding the mask perfectly echoes the red main dress and gold decorations. Although I didn't wear it to cover my face during this shoot, holding it as a prop accessory already strongly enhances the outfit's overall styling presence.
Since this was just a simple fitting record, I didn't set up a complex scene during the shoot, simply using a strong home key light aimed directly. Unexpectedly, this hard light effect turned out surprisingly well—the sharp shadow silhouettes cast on the wall gave the picture a bit of theatrical drama while making the red and gold of the costume stand out even more vibrantly. From lighting details, you can see that the fabric has a subtle golden reflection under side light without feeling like cheap reflective plastic, keeping the natural weave texture crisp and clear.
Overall, Sanfen Wangxiang's product delivers sincere quality in tailoring and metal hardware details. The bells and metallic ornaments in particular carry reassuring weight in hand rather than feeling flimsy. For the character Sparkle, the costume's color matching and accessory layering are inherently rich, and Sanfen Wangxiang arranged these elements in an orderly way without clutter. Although shooting under strong light really tests lighting control skills, the outfit's outstanding quality made the fitting process extremely enjoyable. Wearing it lets you feel the raw tension and playfulness of this outfit design—it was a thoroughly satisfying fitting experience.
