I finished shooting this set of work under the spring cherry blossom trees, where the natural light on-site was much softer than expected. I had been agonizing over the choice of location for Outdoor photography, but eventually decided on this fully bloomed cherry blossom forest. When the sunlight filtered through the flower branches, it truly created an illusion where reality and fantasy intertwine.

Regarding the costume details, the design of this cosplay outfit is truly clever. The top uses white as the primary tone, accented by dark blue lines that outline the silhouette, with metallic trim along the edges adding visual focus. The blue heart-shaped gem on the chest and the cascading bow are the sources of sweetness for the entire ensemble. The wide sleeves on the arms feature a special segmented design, softly fading from ivory white to light purple and pale blue, giving a light and airy flowing feel when the breeze blows. To complement the overall look, the bottom half combines black lace shorts with gold and light blue straps around the thighs, completed with white over-the-knee boots. The glossy white material highlights the leg lines, making the entire look vibrant with youthful energy while remaining refined.

A lot of thought went into the light pink wig for styling. To recreate the character's iconic look, the ring and ear-like hair accessories on top were reinforced. As for the makeup, I focused heavily on the eye makeup: warm peach eyeshadow paired with light-colored contact lenses gave the eyes a clearer, more ethereal look while preserving the character's sweet essence. The lip color chosen was a low-saturation cherry blossom pink, matching the sky full of cherry trees perfectly.

The photoshoot took place during the afternoon when the sunlight was ideal, and the cherry blossoms in person were even denser than in the photos. The single-leg standing pose in the first photo took many attempts to capture the ideal stance, as I had to balance my body weight while waiting for the wind to naturally blow my hair strands and ribbons. There were actually many soft petals scattered on the ground, making it very comfortable to walk on and keeping me feeling completely relaxed.

Regarding post-processing, as mentioned in the post, color grading for Outdoor photography is extremely crucial. I preferred to preserve the original translucent, pinkish-white tones of the cherry blossoms while brightening the ambient light, preventing the face from looking greasy under highlights. After fine-tuning the skin texture delicately, the entire image achieved a soft, translucent spring ambiance. Looking at the final results, I completely relate to the phrase in the post, "If I knew it was a dream, why wake up?" Although the shoot lasted only a few hours, the moment the shutter pressed, the beauty of spring and the character was frozen in time. After wrapping up the shoot for the day, I sat on the edge of the lawn with my eyes closed for a long time; wearing this outfit and immersing myself in the blooming sea of flowers was truly a unique and healing experience.
