I shot this crystal-clear gauze dress look for Emilia, specially choosing a real-life studio with stained glass and classical candlesticks. The light and shadow refracted colorful flecks of light through the glass onto the skirt hem, creating a highly dreamlike visual effect. The silver-white long hair was braided on the side, paired with Elf ears and a white rose headpiece, making the overall atmosphere look like someone walking out of a fairy tale. During the shoot, I tried standing in front of the window, spinning the skirt to let the gauze fly, and sitting on the floor holding a bouquet, hoping to capture Emilia's gentle yet firm temperament. The organza material of the skirt has great fluidity when moving around, though it required readjusting the direction of the pleats with every turn. The venue provided by San Miao Tong Xue offered a wonderful cool-toned background, making the contrast between the white gauze and the blue-purple glow even more distinct. Although the preparation process was tedious, being able to complete a recreation of her image on this special day feels quite meaningful.
