A great deal of thought went into recreating the details of this Angels of Delusion stage outfit for Zenless Zone Zero Aria cosplay. As the lead vocalist and visual center of Angels of Delusion, Aria's overall visual aesthetic balances idol sweetness with the distinctive techwear aesthetic unique to New Eridu.

First, discussing the garment construction: The white fitted corset heavily tested the tailoring—the cinched waistline had to fit the figure snugly to support the sharp, clean lines of the upper body. The striking orange cross ornament and black zipper across the chest serve as the visual focal point; to keep them upright and crisp before the camera, substantial structural shaping was added inside. The black piping on the puff sleeves echoes the cut of the corset, while the skirt below features rich layering, with lace and cyan-green stripes at the base layer. The cyan mechanical eye ornaments with orange concentric circles on either side are the most recognizable accessories. When walking or sitting—such as on a folding ladder—their positions required special adjustment to prevent shifting the center of gravity or obstructing the pleats of the skirt.

Styling the wig was another critical focus. The pink twin tails paired with teal-green highlights in the bangs required hairspray and styling wax to sculpt clean layers so they wouldn't fall flat during high-intensity shooting. Combining over-ear headphones with hair accessories further enhanced the character's electronic music identity. For makeup, I specifically chose bright blue contact lenses to render that luminous yet slightly cybernetic gaze under studio lighting.

The shooting location was an empty indoor corridor. Leveraging overhead lighting and natural reflections created a cool-toned, sci-fi technological vibe that contrasted crisply against the colors of Aria's outfit. In interpreting poses, rather than choosing overly soft postures, I aligned with her role as lead vocalist and visual center, emphasizing confidence and command on stage. For example, among the photos are interactive gestures pointing at the camera, as well as relaxed poses seated on the ladder, using body language to convey the character's lively yet effortlessly cool persona. To highlight the visual center's commanding presence, I tested numerous gazes and facial angles, striving to give each freeze-frame a forward assertiveness while maintaining vibrant energy in this Anime cosplay.

Throughout the shoot, balancing the range of motion with garment integrity meant repeatedly adjusting zippers, the skirt hem, and glove placements. In particular, the striped wristbands adorned with bows easily slipped during larger movements, and glove tightness also affected the natural flow of hand gestures. Then there was the pairing of footwear and socks: chunky-heeled ankle boots matched with pink slouch socks not only enhanced height proportions, but also enriched the color layering of the lower body. Still, seeing how the light and shadow fell upon the outfit's textures and feeling the piercing gaze brought out by the bright blue contacts made the entire process genuinely worthwhile. Giving my all to capture Aria's authentic, vibrant moments beyond the stage was also the best culmination of my recent preparations.
