Shooting night scenes with Sparkle truly yields a fantastic sense of atmosphere, especially the moment the sparkler in hand is lit; the warm yellow light hits the face, and it feels like my entire mood is uplifted. This time, a dark environment was specially chosen to let the light source of the sparks become the primary visual. This not only highlights the silhouette of the person but also brings out the texture of the details on the red costume and fox mask. I place high importance on the restoration of the wig and accessories, especially the fox mask on top of the head and the small bell on the choker, which make subtle clinking sounds when moving. Combined with this red-and-white dominated base outfit and the yellow-and-blue color-blocking waist cincher, the overall color palette is highly coordinated. During the shoot, no overly complex actions were deliberately posed; just holding the fireworks, looking at the lens naturally and relaxedly, or closing my eyes to feel the heat of the firelight instead captured that playful yet slightly mysterious aura of Sparkle. The makeup section mainly emphasized the eye structure, embellishing the under-eye and eyelids with fine shimmers to make the gaze look more translucent in the firelight. The tailoring of this costume leans lightweight; the off-the-shoulder design combined with the cross straps makes it very comfortable to move around in without affecting the motions of waving the sparkler. Shooting this kind of theme with small props outdoors at night makes the coordination between lighting and shutter speed particularly vital—it needs to catch the dynamic trajectory of the sparks while ensuring accurate facial exposure. After the final photos came out, that dreamy feeling under the nighttime low light felt just right, highly aligning with the character's own tone.
