[Viviana Cosplay] Arknights: A Stroll Through the Flower Realm Sent from Ogonisko

The location chosen for this shoot was a meticulously decorated wooden-frame flower house. The overall color tone leaned toward warm natural light, paired with wooden window panes and dense artificial flowers, which perfectly fit the vintage forest vibe of this costume. The blonde wig was layered slightly when styling, with the forehead bangs trimmed into soft curves. Combined with blue contact lenses and clear, translucent eye makeup, this softened the facial features to give a subtle mixed-race feel. The pair of dark brown antlers on my head required careful position-fixing when mounting, ensuring they blended seamlessly into the hair while staying firmly in place whether looking down or tilting my face up.

As for the outfit, the dark brown jacket on top actually relies heavily on good tailoring—especially the off-the-shoulder design, which beautifully frames the shoulder and neckline. The red, white, and blue lace-up ties at the placket serve as a visual focal point for this White thigh-highs outfit / white socks arrangement, creating a striking color contrast that breaks the monotony of the dark top. The plaid skirt on the lower body incorporates white lace trim splicing, paired with white thigh-high sock covers and brown lace-up ankle boots on the feet, offering comfort while keeping the character's capable and crisp quality. The small blue pendant around the neck and the red string on the wrist were also carefully selected during coordination, adding a touch of liveliness to the frame when walking or raising an arm.

For props, I chose a metal-textured long rod. Its reflective effect was great during shooting, particularly when extending an arm in horizontal compositions, as it helped elongate overall body proportions. Although the flower house background was richly filled, the use of abundant pink, white, and light blue flowers created distinct layering, so it never stole the spotlight from the character. The main energy during this shoot was actually spent on coordinating movements: because of having to mind the position of the long rod prop, the direction the skirt hem spread, and the distance between the antlers and surrounding flowers, every time a posture was adjusted, the wig and clothing had to be rearranged.

Outdoor natural light is actually a favorable condition for Flower field photography or photographing this type of character, as one doesn't need to worry about overly harsh shadows while letting the texture of the blonde hair and antlers present a fluffy softness. The shooting process was relatively relaxed, requiring no exaggerated facial expressions; capturing moments like looking down to stroke a leg or turning to look sideways conveyed a still sense of narrative even better. The everyday practicality of this outfit is actually quite high: taken individually, whether the plaid skirt or the ankle boots, both possess a nice casual style. Yet in complete coordination, it instantly restores that unique character image from Arknights. This transformation process—blending everyday life with 2D / Anime cosplay attributes—is precisely what I want to preserve most in every photoshoot.
