The visual focus of this Fate/Grand Order Nero Bride look lies in the collision of pure white and gold decorations, as well as the combination of uniform outerwear and wedding dress elements. Before the shoot, I communicated with the team for a long time, and we finally decided to recreate that gentleness and confidence belonging to the Roman Emperor in a church-style setting.

In preparing the props and costume, great emphasis was placed on the texture and layering of the clothing this time. The main white bodysuit part utilized a fabric with a certain thickness to ensure a crisp visual look. The front zipper, the metal chains at the neckline, and that iconic golden lock are the key details to recreating this 2D character. To achieve that lightweight yet mechanical design from the original setting, the sleeves were made into a detached, puffy structure. Paired with the leather straps on the arms, it feels completely free of constraint when moving around after putting it all on. The transparent patchwork material on the lower body and the draping skirt hem were the difficult parts of this costume design; we had to ensure flat edges while allowing it to spread out naturally in a sitting posture. The zippers and straps on the thigh-high boots were also meticulously customized to make the overall look appear sharper.

This massive white weapon prop was made with the help of friends on the team. Although it's huge, the choice of materials considered portability for the actual shoot, making it surprisingly handy to hold. During the shoot, the interwoven blue-and-white floral arrangements in the venue and the stained-glass windows behind provided an excellent lighting environment for this cosplay photography session. To complement the bride theme, I prepared a bouquet of pink-and-white roses. Whether holding the bouquet or leaning against the sofa, it adds a touch of soft, everyday life vibe to the frame.

Many people's impression of Nero might lean towards being dominant, but when mastering this bride look, I focused more on capturing her pure, straightforward, and even slightly girlish side. The makeup chose a signature bright color palette, which, combined with the blonde hair and veil, made the presentation of facial expressions much more cheerful. The color tone of the entire set was kept within bright and soft light and shadow as much as possible, avoiding harsh shadows to highlight the holy feeling of a "wedding." Although the weight of the greatsword and long skirt was quite heavy, under the photographer's guidance, I quickly found my groove, blending the armed look with the gentle elegance of a bride. Every time the finished set comes out, seeing the character materialized makes all the prior preparation feel incredibly meaningful.
