[Citlali cosplay] Shijiazhuang NCE Anime Convention Photo Sharing

This time, I captured Citlali cosplay convention photos from Genshin Impact at the Shijiazhuang NCE anime convention. The photo studio area on the convention floor had metal trusses and studio strobes creating complex lighting conditions, so we deliberately chose a corner plush rug as our shooting spot. Utilizing oversized plush pillows as framing props helped block out the distracting background crowds while creating a shallow depth of field that kept the subject sharp and the frame clean. Regarding the outfit styling, the white, blue, and purple color palette stood out brilliantly; the unique head ornaments and bodice details caught the bright convention hall lighting effectively. The ruffled hemline of the skirt harmonized seamlessly with the sleek lines of the tall boots. To optimize overall body proportions, I struck a kneeling-seated stance, which simultaneously showcased the layered skirt and boots while the plush pillow added an extra touch of cuteness to the composition.

Throughout the shoot, the photographer constantly adjusted lighting angles to prevent harsh highlights across the face, utilizing low-angle perspectives to elongate body proportions—finding such a relatively quiet pocket amid the loud, bustling venue was truly a blessing. The costume is rich in subtle details, such as patterns on the detached sleeves and decorative leg straps, all cleanly captured in close-up portraits. Although running the entire day was physically exhausting, seeing the final images made every drop of effort worthwhile. Bringing this Genshin Impact character to life was an absolute joy; the fidelity of the hair, makeup, and props translated completely on camera, allowing me to connect even deeper with the character's persona. The extensive prep work—studying references and practicing poses beforehand—really paid off on set. Deep gratitude to the photographer for patiently scouting angles and capturing so many candid, lively beats amid chaotic convention surroundings.
