For this shoot, we chose a large-area blue and white color scheme with a fresh backdrop, centering the entire coordination around a Japanese moe style. In terms of styling, the silver-white twin-tail wig required extra attention to brush out any frizz, ensuring the hair strands maintained a smooth texture. Combined with her reddish-brown colored contacts, the eyes kept their spirit even under the extremely light hair color. For the eye makeup, I intentionally toned down the dark eyeliner and blended light red shades around the eyes to fit the character's lazy and playful traits.
The outfit selected is a modified version of the classic sailor uniform. The two-piece blue and white striped design and the wide sailor collar make one look visually very petite. A small carrot charm was specially attached to the bowknot; this small detail is incredibly lively, adding a playful vibe to the originally plain blue and white color scheme. The cuffs and skirt hem feature loose cuts, paired with white over-the-knee socks, which not only unifies the overall color palette but also reinforces the classic visual symbols of a cute girl in the anime style.
The set design this time followed a dreamy carnival theme. The photographer intentionally selected a high-brightness lighting scheme to eliminate harsh shadows on the face as much as possible, making the skin texture look more translucent. Regarding props, a large number of plush toys, white-based Roman columns, flower vines, and various light blue decorations were used. The small blue pastry I held in my hand was actually very soft in texture, but netizens joked that it looked like a bottle cap. When editing the photos, I couldn't help but feel that it really did look a bit like one, which became a funny little inside joke during the shoot.
During the shoot, I chose sitting and crouching poses to complement the low-height props and flower bushes. This made the perspective of the captured images more friendly and shortened the distance between the character and the camera. Although the combination of white hair and red eyes is often praised in online communities, to capture its true charm, one still needs to manage expressions carefully—not too stiff, yet not too artificial—striving to display a natural and innocent look. The entire shooting process went very smoothly. The white feathers and the blue-and-white backdrop blended seamlessly, creating a truly lightweight and dreamy Japanese-style cosplay vibe under the lens. I must say, I am very satisfied with how the sailor uniform elements matched the set design this time.
