[Ganyu Cosplay] Genshin Impact Bride: A Pure White Vow in Blue and White Tulle

The studio photos for this Ganyu Bridal cosplay theme are finally curated, and I want to dive straight into the preparation and behind-the-scenes details. The blue-and-white gradient palette of the gown was remarkably crisp and refreshing. Pairing the icy-blue wig with the red-and-black horns took multiple attempts during prep to secure firmly at the crown. The focal point of the ensemble lay in the tiered texture of multi-layered tulle and delicate lace; for the full-body standing shots in particular, constantly rearranging the gown's train alongside the thigh-high White stockings and high heels was essential to elongate body proportions.

Lighting on set relied primarily on diffused bounce. To capture the sheer texture of the white tulle, the overall grade leaned cool-toned to evoke an ethereal, detached aura. The photographer explored diverse camera angles: the high-angle shots where I sit cradling the bridal bouquet were framed to slim facial contours while flattering the curves of the bodice, requiring delicate adjustments. Meanwhile, holding the veil in the full-body shot may seem effortless, but it required keeping the spine rigidly straight, engaging arm strength to cast the fabric into fluid motion, and balancing on stilettos across dozens of takes before nailing the most organic flutter.

The glance back over the shoulder was tailored to accentuate the headpiece, pearl necklace, and backlines, with the bridal veil radiating soft translucency under studio illumination. Every pose shift demanded readjusting the veil and skirt ruffles to prevent unsightly creases. In this ensemble, the white thigh garter paired with White stockings photographed with rich texture under studio lamps, harmonizing seamlessly with the blue piping along the skirt hem. Maintaining character composure meant steady communication with the photographer regarding framing angles, ensuring every shot radiated this detached, graceful composure. These are my personal reflections from this studio shoot experience.
