[Vanilla cosplay] NEKOPARA's Blue and White Plaid Stage Outfit, A Sweet Critical Hit of White stockings and Cat Ears

Shooting this NEKOPARA Vanilla stage outfit set had a quite tedious preliminary preparation process. From trimming and styling the wig to the detail adjustments of the cat ear headband and the blue and white plaid bow, every step required careful checking against the original artwork settings. Because the stage outfit belongs to a stage style, it needs to reflect a sense of lightness and liveliness, so in the makeup handling, I intentionally intensified the blush to create a girlish feel, while adopting bright-colored contact lenses, hoping to restore Vanilla's innocent yet charming traits to the maximum extent in front of the lens. The material of the costume has great texture; the blue and white plaid fabric is relatively crisp and less prone to unsightly wrinkles, but this also means that special attention needs to be paid to posture when wearing it.

The design of the clothes is very layered; the spliced plaid, the midriff-baring cut, and the layers of skirt hems can produce a great dynamic effect when showcasing movements. To match the style of this outfit, I paired it with elbow-length white long gloves and White stockings, plus white high heels and a plush tail prop. Although it looks extremely sweet, during actual shooting, maintaining this exquisiteness is actually a huge test of physical strength, especially when needing to do movements like jumping, squatting, or even single-leg standing; the core strength must be kept tight, otherwise the wrinkles and styling of the clothes will collapse. The choice of White stockings is also very particular; the thickness and elasticity need to be just right so that without cutting into the flesh, it can present perfect leg lines.

This time cooperating with photographer Xiongdu Xiashan, the shooting was completed at the Different Frame Dimension Studio. The lighting layout of the studio matches the colors of this outfit very well, and the intertwining lights of pink, blue, and purple make the whole frame full of a dreamy feel. When communicating actions, we especially emphasized how to use body language to show the character's playfulness. For instance, that rainbow note prop needed coordination with gaze interaction when held in hand so that the photos wouldn't look rigid. Many shooting angles were specially adjusted to highlight the White stockings and leg lines, while also taking into account the display of the upper body's chest and waistline, making the whole character appear both sexy and cute in the frame. The photographer is very good at capturing dynamic moments, which also allowed me to relax more in front of the lens to display various large-scale movements.

As a senior White hair fetishist, being able to personally wear this outfit to appear and experience Vanilla's unique charm is a very enjoyable process. A character walking out of a galgame, restored in reality through the form of cosplay, is not just a imitation of appearance, but also an emotional communication and expression. In the process of preparing props and costumes, I also consulted a lot of relevant materials, striving to do the best in details. Although my body was very exhausted at the end of the shoot, seeing every piece of light and shadow and detail in the final photos reach expectations made all the previous sweat feel worth it. Being able to record this cuteness in my own way is truly a very happy thing. I hope this set of photos lets everyone feel Vanilla's sweetness.
