This time for the 2026 Azur Lane Port District Midsummer Cooling Festival, I prepared this Unicorn styling. When I got the clothes, I carefully looked at the overall design. With white as the main tone, it incorporates light purple gauze and translucent white gauze. This material combination has a lot of visual layering. The upper body is an off-shoulder halterneck design, with three-dimensional lace ruffle bowties at the neckline. The white translucent bubble sleeve covers paired on the arms can well modify the arm lines while increasing a sense of lightness. The blue and white striped ribbons hanging down from the chest break the monotony of the solid color, and the dark bow and golden cross buckle at the waist do a great job of cinching the waist, making the overall body proportions look more slender.

The soul of this styling lies in the small white wings on the back and the antenna hair accessories on top of the head. The wings use a stiff material and can maintain their shape when fixed on the back, not deforming due to movement. The antenna hair accessories on top of the head need repeated angle adjustments to ensure they are eye-catching enough in the lens without looking too abrupt. For the wig, I did a highlight gradient of light blue and purple, with the color transition of blue and purple at the hair ends being the key point. A lot of time was spent trimming and styling, just to make the direction of the hair strands look more natural and fit the character's soft temperament.

On the makeup side, to match the character's well-behaved and quiet feeling, I mainly used pink-purple eyeshadow for eye contouring, intensifying the aegyo-sal and eyelashes to make the eyes look softer and more vibrant. The lipstick chose a slightly reddish shade to avoid the overall makeup looking too pale and to add a bit of summer vitality. The shooting location was chosen as an indoor set with a cafe theme. The background wall is white faux brick texture, and on the right side is a large blackboard with coffee cups, light bulbs, and some English phrases drawn in chalk. This slightly artistic and daily-feeling scene can instead well set off the exquisite nature of the clothing.

During shooting, the purple gauze on the clothing had a strong drape and would float naturally when walking. The multi-layered white pleated short skirt at the hem paired with pure white pantyhose (white stockings) and white high heels, and the overall color tone was highly unified. I tried to keep a relaxed state in front of the lens, with hands clasped in front of my chest, or slightly turning sideways to look back, allowing the body lines to be naturally displayed. Since it's a midsummer theme, I added a faint smile to my eyes and expression, trying to convey a quiet and cool atmosphere.

The entire shooting process was actually harder than imagined, especially since although the indoor lighting was sufficient, to capture the translucency of the gauze fabric, the fill light angle needed to be constantly adjusted. The wig gradient is very prone to uneven color rendering under strong light, so constant combing and adjustment were needed during shooting breaks. During post-processing, I slightly darkened the ambient light, increased the brightness of white, and made the contrast between purple and white softer. Every link of this shoot, from early preparation to post-processing, was treated seriously, hoping to show the sweet side of the character, and hoping everyone can feel this summer coolness belonging to the port district.
