Today I tried on this Silver Wolf Lv999 cosplay outfit and wanted to share my honest fitting experience with everyone.
I bought the standard non-illuminating version from CYY. The shipping wait was agonizingly long—I was getting so anxious I almost spammed customer service for updates; I really hope the seller can speed up fulfillment. However, once unboxed, the tactile quality of the props was genuinely impressive: most are 3D-printed components with illumination modules, finished with immaculate detail, creating a thoroughly striking visual impact. Best of all, the fingerless gloves finally come with finished hemmed edges—I literally cried tears of joy! Many previous gloves had rough, raw edges that were not only uncomfortable during extended wear but also chafed the skin, so this upgraded detail is a huge plus. The prop quality remains consistently high, faithfully recreating the mecha aesthetics and sci-fi elements of this Cyberpunk cosplay look, and those three-dimensional printed accessories can basically be worn straight out of the box without requiring much secondary customization.
That said, the garment sizing and pattern cut definitely gave me a headache. The shorts are way too short—they essentially serve as a decorative element. You absolutely cannot skip wearing safety shorts underneath, and you have to remain hyper-vigilant whether standing or sitting, as any slightly dynamic movement risks accidental exposure, which feels rather restrictive when trying to strike diverse photo poses. The top is also cut short; I wouldn't dare wear it out without layering a tube top underneath, otherwise wardrobe malfunctions are almost guaranteed. The back cape train was a bit too long for me—probably because of my petite height—and I was constantly terrified of stepping on it while walking. Although the flowing train looks gorgeous and undeniably enriches overall visual layering, managing it during outdoor shoots or walking requires constant mindfulness.
The gauntlet design also presents quite a challenge. If your fingers run even slightly short, the finger armor tends to slip off easily, requiring careful repositioning during wear—you might need to anchor them with double-sided fashion tape or safety pins. The bracer on the right gauntlet is notoriously difficult to take off; you really need to study the release angle carefully beforehand. I was in too much of a rush and ended up grazing a bit of skin off my hand. A gentle reminder to everyone: handle them with care when putting them on or taking them off, find the right leverage point, and never yank by brute force, otherwise you can genuinely get hurt.
For footwear, I chose boots from MJ, which matched the outfit seamlessly. They strongly amplified the utilitarian techwear and sci-fi aesthetic, and made the leg lines look fantastic alongside my Stockings. While the cut is somewhat unforgiving on body proportions, the top-tier prop quality and overall photographic delivery are simply beyond reproach. Despite running into a few minor hiccups during the fitting, the overall aesthetic is undeniably gorgeous and delivers incredible results on camera. Apologies in advance for any OOC moments—this set is truly worth getting your hands on to experience firsthand!
