Cosplaying Amiya on the first day of TapTap Game Festival, the sheer intricacy of this ensemble truly exceeded my expectations. The wide-sleeved coat color-blocked in black, white, and blue was layered over a ruffled white blouse; for the black, white, and gray checkered ribbon streamers at the cuffs alone, I spent extensive time steaming them beforehand so they would drape naturally in photos without clinging to my legs. The inner layers were heavily tiered—wearing them felt quite warm, yet beholding that dimensional, sculpted silhouette in the mirror made every bit of tedious prep feel well worth it.
Head styling was paramount. For the brown-and-white plush beast ears, ensuring organic strand flow took considerable effort during mounting, as they had to stand firmly upright at the crown. The sharp-angled geometric hair ornament positioned between the ears had crisp, clean edges; wearing it for extended periods exerted noticeable pressure on the head, but to honor overall character fidelity, that slight weight was entirely manageable. On the makeup front, I selected bright azure contact lenses to embody her spirit, softly smudging pinkish hues along the outer eye corners and finishing with a natural rose-pink lip to keep my presence gentle and approachable.
In terms of accessories, the blue diamond-check choker and the blue ring bands across my fingers were worn strictly according to official designs. The black tattoo-like marking across the back of my hand was hand-drawn stroke by stroke using a fine-tipped waterproof makeup pen, requiring an unshakeable hand to trace the delicate linework. To tie the entire look together, I wore black stockings (Stockings) under the white flared skirt, which not only flattered leg contours during movement, but added rich visual contrast.
At the convention hall, the backdrop featured an impressive high-tech LED screen showcasing cascading blue data streams and hexagonal motifs. To embrace this ambiance, we scouted a position slightly off to the side, harnessing the screen's cool-toned illumination as practical lighting. In posing direction, beyond standard standing postures, I explored diverse interactive moments: reaching a hand toward the lens as if extending a gentle invitation, perching on an ergonomic gaming chair while resting my chin on interlaced hands, and leaning forward slightly with palms pressed together. The convention floor was bustling, and navigating in this full gear all day demanded immense stamina, requiring mindful breath control. Yet the moment the photographer showed me the preview cuts—beholding that clear-eyed bunny with plush ears glowing before the camera—all the fatigue from test fittings, detail fine-tuning, and early morning call times melted away in an instant.
