The focus of this Aemeath shoot was primarily on recreating the outfit's tactile quality and the overall ambiance. For the setting, we chose a pink-and-white temple scene where white Roman pillars and pink floral arrangements on both sides complemented the character's white-and-pink attire. During the shoot, we wanted to highlight the garment's airy, flowing lightness, so considerable thought went into pose design—such as the dynamic pose with one leg raised in the first shot, which allowed the skirt and long sleeves to fan out naturally mid-air, lending a compelling tension aligned with the sword's direction. The second shot is a standing pose with an extended arm, showcasing the intricate details on the front of the garment. The costume is rich in detail, featuring golden chest accessories, a blue ribbon at the waist, and—most challenging of all—the white thigh-high Stockings and leg rings, which took substantial effort to adjust and position, not to mention the balance required by the high heels. While the longsword looks striking, it is surprisingly heavy; executing various slashes and flourishes demanded strong arm support. To keep the posture fluid rather than stiff, I made several attempts to align the sword angle with the flow of my hair. The long pink hair with cyan highlights required extensive styling and shaping to ensure the ends maintained a natural curve even during subtle turns. For makeup, matching the character's cool demeanor, I opted for soft pink eyeshadow and glossy lips, aiming for a clean and radiant finish. Balancing the lighting contrast on set was also crucial; given the bright backdrop, reflectors were angled toward the face to bring out fair skin textures while preventing pink color casts reflected from the surrounding flowers. Post-processing focused largely on color temperature adjustments to preserve an airy pink-violet tone and eliminate distracting elements. Thanks to the detailed stage setup and costume craftsmanship, the final outcome aligned beautifully with the character design.
