[Lilith cosplay] Dark style Allure of Fate/Grand Order: Demonic Gaze Beneath Thorns and Crimson Drapes

This time, I teamed up with two master photographers, @矢吹翼 and @无语fiven, to shoot Lilith cosplay from Fate/Grand Order.

Styling and makeup were crucial aspects of this shoot; to embody the character's mysterious and dangerous aura in this Roleplay, I experimented extensively with the makeup. Styling the silver twin-tail wig tested patience, but paired with elf ears and black horns, it sculpted a striking three-dimensional silhouette. Wearing vivid emerald green contact lenses, complemented by subtly upturned reddish eyeshadow and full crimson lips, made my gaze intensely focused before the lens.

For the costume, a retro black-and-red contrast leather jacket was chosen—the red lapel contrasting sharply against the black body of the coat. A cutout chest design paired with winding black thorn tattoos along the neck and chest, together with a red cord and black choker, created rich visual depth. The pair of black claw gauntlets with sharp fingertips was a highlight, with hand gestures drawing from character lore to appear aggressively menacing. Paired with black Stockings and leg straps, it contoured the legs beautifully, creating stunning visual impact in full-body shots.

The core prop of this shoot was a massive black thorn wheel, which was genuinely heavy. Holding it one-handed required not only balancing the prop steadily, but also keeping the upper body upright and facial expressions relaxed. The studio was also styled with an abundance of cascading red drapes and scattered red apples across the floor, cultivating a powerful Dark style fairy tale ambiance.

Throughout the shoot, the photographers provided highly professional guidance on camera angles and posing. For instance, when lying sideways, intentionally elongating leg lines utilized the sleek texture of the Stockings to emphasize extension; when seated, engaging the core and keeping the torso straight projected an arrogant, commanding presence. Reviewing raw photos in the camera viewfinder, the translucency of the red fabric and the glossy sheen of the black leather were pleasantly stunning. In post-processing, I avoided heavy skin smoothing to preserve authentic skin texture, simply darkening the background slightly to highlight the saturation of reds and depth of blacks, shaping a cool, alluring atmosphere.

Beyond that, I learned new shooting techniques through this process—like mastering eye focus and using body lines to enhance storytelling and dynamic tension. The team synergy was flawless, with everyone bringing their strengths and iterating repeatedly for the best angles.
