For this Qingxiao cosplay from Wuthering Waves, the focus was placed on the restoration of costume materials and the expression of dynamic tension. The design of this outfit blends a Chinese mandarin collar and off-the-shoulder cut, with a large amount of ice-blue tulle and transparent water sleeves on the outer layer, exhibiting a great texture under lighting. To match this light and translucent feeling, the base makeup was intentionally made relatively transparent, and the eye makeup chose red-pink tones to increase the contrast with the overall cool color tone. The wig is a major difficulty; the transparent wave-shaped hair ornament on top of the head needs to be fixed very carefully to prevent falling off or showing flaws during large movements. In terms of props, that translucent crystal-textured sword is really heavy, but to capture that fierce look, the wrist must remain stable when holding and thrusting it. The semi-squatting posture in Figure 2 actually tests core strength quite a bit; to make the lines from the thighs to the insteps look relaxed while showcasing the wave texture on the white stockings, it requires constantly adjusting the angle of the waist and the force-bearing points of the legs. The calligraphy scroll in the background served well to set off the character's position in the frame, and by adjusting the angle of the main light source, the translucent feel of the tulle and props was presented even more clearly through the lens. The entire shooting process was constantly adjusting details, just to present the most ideal effect.
