Slipping into this black-and-white battle attire and stepping onto the redwood bridge, I immersed myself completely into Blanc's persona. Taking on this iconic Goddess of Victory character—often celebrated as a "mommy-tier" figure—demanded fluid poise, balancing intellectual gentleness with the sharp valor of a battlefield Valkyrie in this Roleplay endeavor.
The garment craftsmanship was remarkably detailed: a velvet-textured black overcoat paired with expansive white lace ruffles and sheer mesh paneling across the bodice created rich visual layers. The golden dragon embroidery across the waist and hemline shone brilliantly even under dim light, which, accented by an oversized glossy black patent leather bow, made the ensemble ornate without crossing into gaudiness. The white twin-bun hairstyle heavily tested wig texture; interwoven black ribbons faithfully recreated her design while harmonizing seamlessly with the outfit's color scheme. For makeup, a cool-toned red lip grounded the crisp, resolute atmosphere.
The set design created an enchanting ambiance for Japanese-style photography—the crimson covered bridge, cascading pink faux blossoms, an illuminated full moon backdrop, red-and-blue paper parasols, and square paper lanterns in the corner wove an ethereal bridge between reality and fantasy. Immense credit goes to photographer @AAAA土木毛总 for the lighting: a cool blue accent light on the left paired with the intensely glowing full moon behind me formed a striking warm-cool contrast, elevating the dreamlike mood while highlighting the textures of the black coat and Black tights outfit under backlighting.
For posing, reflecting the character's mature demeanor, I avoided overly cutesy gestures in favor of relaxed seated postures and glancing back over the shoulder. Perching along the crimson railing accentuated long leg lines wrapped in black tights while letting the slightly parted coat reveal the inner corset bodice, effortlessly conveying both feminine grace and inner strength. The high-slit skirt hem served as a fluid visual extension of the legs during seated poses. Interacting with props—like holding a black folding fan or resting a hand lightly against the wooden balustrade—kept the framing organic and vibrant.
The shoot took considerable time as the team repeatedly fine-tuned light positions to capture the quiet, subtly mysterious atmosphere beneath the full moon. Wearing a snug, high-waisted corset and a heavy wig was physically demanding, but seeing Blanc materialized with such complete fidelity made every effort worthwhile. This seamless collaboration leaves me eager to portray more diverse characters from the Goddess of Victory universe in future shoots.
