[C.C. cosplay] Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Chessboard Banquet Queenly Style Appearance

Wearing this deep blue gold-trimmed dress themed around the chessboard banquet instantly turns me into a mature, long-legged sister. Today I want to share some details and the wearing experience of this cosplay photo set. The main body of the dress is royal blue, adorned with gold lace edges and metal chains, giving off a feeling of gorgeousness and elegance at first sight. The bodice section adopts a bandeau and cutout design, with drooping gold chains extending all the way from the collar down to the waist and abdomen, beautifully elongating the visual proportion of the upper body. The arms are equipped with matching deep blue long sleeve covers that are independent and detached; although putting them on and taking them off requires a little skill, the final result carries a great sense of ritual.

The most eye-catching part of the entire outfit, in my opinion, is the design of the lower body. The high-slit long skirt hem is very grand, revealing the black safety shorts underneath when walking, which is both convenient for movement and brings its own powerful aura. To make the overall look stay true to the character's setting, I specially chose a light green long straight wig, with the yellow butterfly-shaped hair accessory on top of my head serving as a perfect touch. The choker around the neck features a blue teardrop pendant, making the entire look appear exceptionally exquisite whenever I look down or turn my head.

The makeup this time wasn't overly complex either, with the emphasis placed on slightly extending the eyeliner to make the gaze look a bit lazy and mysterious. In the standing mirror selfie shots, the visual effect of the high slit combined with the long legs truly maximizes the mature sister vibe instantly. I specially placed a gold diamond-shaped mark on my thigh to echo the gold ornaments on the dress. For shoes, I chose a pair of black platform high heels; the most special part is the pointed cutout design over the instep and the slender ankle straps. This style complements the foot shape perfectly and further extends the length of the calves visually.

Honestly, during the shooting preparation, it took some time to adjust the tightness of the dress. Because with this off-the-shoulder and cutout design, it can easily shift out of place if you are not careful. Therefore, during the shoot, I had to constantly pay attention to maintaining my stance and angle to ensure the position of the collar and necklace was just right. But this is exactly where the fun of cosplay lies—through adjusting various small details, a flat costume can be worn to produce a three-dimensional effect.

When this grand long skirt dragged across the floor, it picked up some dust; if it were an outdoor shoot, cleaning it up would probably be quite a hassle, but this indoor mirror selfie was already enough for me to experience its beauty. Personally, I quite like this kind of clothing with a touch of gorgeousness and mystery. Just by simply styling my hair and putting on the wig, my presence changes instantly. Every time I cosplay a character with a queenly aura, the texture of the costume itself can give me immense confidence.

Looking back at the photos after the shoot, I am particularly satisfied with the standing pose one. The slender figure and deep blue skirt hem reflected in the mirror, paired with the white and gold-bordered mirror frame, made the frame look highly harmonious. The entire process didn't actually involve any overly complex sets, just simple selfies in front of the mirror; the focus was still on the completion level of the costume itself and the character's posture control. Today's chessboard banquet styling can be considered as fulfilling a small wish to try on this outfit, and the moment I put it on, I truly felt my queenly style fully unleashed.
