For this Azur Lane Cheshire Cosplay Bride photoshoot, pre-shoot preparations focused primarily on faithfully recreating the makeup and wig. The blue-grey gradient wig easily showed color shifts under indoor lighting, so we adjusted the lighting positions repeatedly on-site to ensure depth in the hair color and clear lighting on facial contours. The outfit features multiple layers of ruffles and lace, paired with White stockings and platform bow high heels, making the overall visual look both voluminous and airy. Scouting at the zoo photo gathering, we selected a setting with a piano and roses, using a darker backdrop to make the pink-themed subject stand out. During the shoot, to highlight the leg lines in this outfit, we tried various sitting poses and side profiles; the posture on the piano bench directly influenced the texture of the White stockings in front of the lens. The posing direction mainly referenced the 2D character's personality setting, combining obedient and demure umbrella-holding gestures with lively, relaxed heart-sign interactions. We noticed the bouquet was quite large, requiring precise focus control to avoid drawing attention away from the model. In the post-editing stage, we focused on handling garment pleat details and color consistency. Because of the Bride theme, we needed to maintain a dreamy ambiance throughout the image without relying excessively on blur filters that hide textures. Tieban Onii-chan was primarily responsible for color grading, giving the overall tone a warm touch to soften the contrast between pink and blue. For posing, I recommend that fellow cosplayers shooting similar styles pay attention to extending the ankles and toes, which effectively elongates leg proportions. Since it was an indoor venue, white balance control was crucial to reproduce natural skin tones under the actual lighting. The entire shoot took about six hours. Mid-shoot, the voluminous skirt got caught in the piano stool gap, taking a while to find a suitable sitting position while ensuring the subject remained well-centered. After careful selection, these photos with clean composition and a clear atmosphere were chosen for display on the homepage.
