The theme of today's photo set is Remielle after stepping away from her Hollow Investigator Proxy role. To capture the gap in her setting, we chose a vintage bookstore as our shooting location. The wooden bookshelves behind me, packed with antique books and lit by warm yellow desk lamps, created a moody atmosphere perfect for contrasting pink hair with Black Wings. During location scouting, I noticed that natural wood tones and deep browns make the best backdrops—they highlight the vibrant pink wig while preventing the black costume and wings from melting into an indistinct blob. As for the costume, the corset and sheer mesh top offer rich layers, accented with star-shaped metal charms across the chest and skirt hem. To make the silhouette feel lighter, I specifically chose black lace-trimmed suspender stockings paired with pointed-toe high heels. The red soles of the heels provided a subtle splash of contrasting color in dark settings—a fun hidden detail. The wing props were packed with fine craftsmanship; instead of plain smooth fabric, I opted for black feathers infused with subtle shimmer so they would catch the light dynamically without looking flat. Trimming the wig took careful attention too—the blunt bangs and sideburns had to frame the face perfectly, while the cross-star hair ornament and red-and-black bow required rock-solid attachment to endure various crouching and kneeling poses throughout the shoot. Controlling body postures during the shoot was quite demanding. For example, in the shot sitting on the round stool, I had to engage my core heavily to keep the wings from blocking body lines while conveying a clingy, quiet stance with tucked feathers. In the birdcage shot, despite kneeling halfway, I kept my upper body straight and hands posed to channel that provocative yet playful little devil charm. The photographer constantly adjusted angles—especially for the low-angle leg shot, which required positioning the lens very low to bring out the Stockings texture and the visual elongation of the legs. To recreate the feeling of quietly clinging to the Proxy, my gaze wasn't overly aggressive, leaning instead toward languid reliance. As someone who loves exploring diverse 2D styles, I thoroughly enjoyed bringing out this blend of dark gothic vibes, sensuality, and sweetness. Gathering props, styling the wig, and coordinating makeup was intricate but deeply fulfilling. Exploring diverse sets like the bookstore and the cage allowed me to showcase this look from multiple facets. I hope everyone scrolling past these photos feels this serene yet subtly dangerous atmosphere. Remielle is truly charming, and I'd love to try similar styles again when the chance arises. Overall, the final shots met all expectations, with moody lighting and props serving the overarching theme beautifully.
