I really love this palace princess atmosphere for this shoot. In order to restore Cheshire's elegant yet slightly mysterious temperament, we put a lot of thought into the scene layout. From the roses scattered in the corners to the vintage oil paintings, every prop was placed to fit the overall visual flow. In terms of clothing selection, I preferred those exquisite laces and layered gauze skirts, making the visual effect lighter without losing the gorgeousness of royalty. The use of lighting is also the core of this shoot. Through side warm light hitting the gauze skirt, it can well outline the texture and delicate folds of the fabric. This sense of layering interwoven by light and shadow can indeed better integrate the original 2D character into the real palace artistic conception. I even considered the change of color temperature repeatedly during post-production color grading, striving to present a dreamy and advanced film texture. When I saw the finished product, I was really satisfied with the sense of tranquility of 'walking in the deep palace.' In fact, in the process of Cosplay, I have been thinking about how to balance the character's original personality with this specific scene. The final effect seems to have just grasped the balance point of nobility and gentleness, perfectly matching the assumption of 'if she were a princess in the palace.' This work is a perfect example of Aesthetic photography, focusing on high Character accuracy within the context of Azur Lane.
