Putting on this blue and white gym uniform and standing in front of the classroom blackboard, I truly felt like I had just stepped out of a Blue Archive game scene. This shoot was specially set in a real school. The desks and chairs, the globe, the physics formulas written on the blackboard, and even the drone model overhead all perfectly recreated the atmosphere of Kokona's usual activities in the classroom. Actually, Kokona's wig styling is very challenging. With long silver-white hair and her iconic animal ears, it must maintain a fluffy feel while showing no traces of the wig net. I spent quite a lot of time on the detailed processing of the styling this time. The fabric tailoring of the gym uniform cosplay and the length of the skirt hem were also repeatedly adjusted, aiming to fit the character setting while ensuring that the overall lines look natural when sitting on the ground or raising a hand. The cooperation with photographer Mr. Martin went very smoothly during the shoot. He captured many spontaneous moments, such as holding a volleyball, dazing out while sitting on the ground, or waving with a raised hand like in the last photo, which all fit Kokona's usual personality of being both serious and a bit childish. The natural light in the classroom mixed with the fill light made the texture of the skin tone and the wig look exceptionally soft and translucent. Actually, the happiest thing about Blue Archive cosplay is being able to bring the character you love into reality, experiencing her daily life in this world in a more three-dimensional way. Although this gymnastics uniform cosplay isn't a combat outfit, it perfectly showcases another relaxed and cute side of Kokona in her daily life.
