[Tendou Arisu cosplay] Blue Archive Maid Outfit: A Girlish Vibe in Black, White, and Blue

Actually, this Blue Archive Tendou Arisu maid outfit incorporates many iconic elements into a classic black-and-white framework. In particular, the blue-grey twin tails, the blue-cyan bow tie, and the geometric stripe embellishments give the overall look a clean, girlish vibe while retaining a bit of sci-fi style and fantasy color. The geometric halo on top of the head is the finishing touch. During shooting, in order to make it look more three-dimensional and have a suspended perspective, a lot of effort was spent on post-processing synthesis to make the screen effect more natural and realistic.

The location selection for this shoot mainly leaned towards a warm and cozy indoor environment. For example, the first set of shots used a vintage upright piano as a background; the dark wood texture and the arrangement of piano keys nicely set off the black-and-white color-blocked maid outfit, creating a quiet and artistic atmosphere. The second scene utilized cardboard boxes paired with a Christmas tree and red gift boxes in the background, presenting a playful and lazy vibe like unboxing a blind box. In the sofa scene, the action of holding a white porcelain cup was meant to convey a comfortable, slow-paced daily atmosphere.

As for makeup and hairstyle, I chose a layered blue-grey wig. Along with the long bangs on both sides, it framed the face shape well, making the contour look clean and neat. For eye makeup, a reddish-orange blend was specifically used on the lower eyelid to make the eyes look softer and more vivid, paired with blue colored contact lenses that emphasize clarity, conveying the character's unique innocent and clueless gaze.

When I received this maid outfit, what I liked most were the small details on the skirt, such as the geometric prints on the hem, the ruffled layers of the apron, and the lively blue ribbon at the neckline. The lower body features a classic white thigh-highs outfit paired with black patent leather Mary Jane shoes, making the overall black-and-white visual center of gravity very stable.

In fact, when portraying this kind of setting, besides recreating the costume, one also needs to capture that wonderful sense of contrast arising from thinking or spacing out. Therefore, in front of the camera, whether curling up in a cardboard box or resting my chin on my hands in front of the piano, I tried my best to minimize any forced posing, showing a natural, effortless sense of relaxation. To fully present this costume, we also tried multi-angle compositions during the shoot, using medium close-ups to express expressions and full-body shots to display the match of the skirt hem and shoes, striving to present every detail clearly and beautifully, so that this set of photos can get close to everyone's imagination and expectations of the character in terms of light, shadow, and atmosphere.
