This Hatsune Miku bunny girl photoshoot was a very special attempt in terms of clothing material and emotional expression. Although the theme carries a dreamy fairy tale feel, I wanted to highlight that silent melancholy even more.

Let's talk about the details of this styling first. The glossy white bodysuit has an extremely strong reflective texture under the lighting; this material is very demanding on the wearer and requires extremely high posture requirements. During the shoot, I kept my core tightened all the time, not daring to relax for a second. The neckline and chest are paired with a gray bow to neutralize the monotony of pure white. The arm straps and wide choker also chose the same color scheme. The cyan hair twin tails were made into layered braided tails, with the hair ends decorated with crosses, small flowers, and gray bows, wearing a white bunny ear headband on top of the head. Because the wig needed styling, a large amount of hairspray and clips were used before the shoot to fix it, ensuring it wouldn't deform during large movements. The blue colored contacts echo the cyan hair, and the eye makeup avoided excessive blending, focusing on emphasizing the sharpness of the eyeliner and the highlighting of the aegyo-sal, keeping the makeup clean even under close-up shots.

The lower body is paired with white fishnet stockings and white platform high heels. The mesh texture of the fishnet stockings eats up a lot of light in front of the lens; during the shoot, I constantly adjusted the tension of the stockings to distribute the mesh as evenly as possible, while the high heels helped elongate my leg lines when changing poses on the sofa.

The scene was chosen indoors with vintage elements: a white suede sofa, a dark red carpet, a birdcage, and a warm yellow main light source. Glossy clothing is extremely sensitive to light reflection; to avoid highlight clipping, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted the lighting positions, using rim backlighting to outline the contours of the clothes and a softbox to illuminate the face. In the three finished photos, I tried different body languages to convey the atmosphere: turning sideways with lowered gaze was to show a sense of vulnerability; playing with the braids and staring straight into the camera broke the illusion of the fairy tale and brought out a sense of distance; the posture of leaning back and raising arms tried to touch some kind of nothingness.

The initial sound echoes into the future; Hatsune Miku's voice symbolizes a connection across time. This time, combining the blue hair twin tails and bunny girl elements, I searched for a balance between vintage and futuristic senses. The entire shooting process didn't feature exaggerated body movements, relying more on subtle changes in the eyes to convey emotions. It was an in-depth experience of control in front of the lens.
