The location at Guilin Park indeed perfectly fits the theme of this outdoor shoot. Before shooting, I kept thinking about how to utilize the artificial rockeries, white walls with moon gates, and green plants in the park to match this Luo Tianyi cosplay photoshoot of the "Hua Chen Yue Xi" look. During the actual shooting, we found that the natural lighting here was very ideal. The sunlight filtering through the leaves could directly strike the white gauze dress, creating a translucent feel that is highly suitable for traditional style cosplay derivative designs of such Vocaloid characters.

This time, the makeup style took a clear and elegant route, highlighting the pairing of green colored contacts with the silver-gray wig. The styling of the two double-buns on the wig highly tested management techniques, and I intentionally added blue-purple flower clusters and yellow tassels to enrich the details. The white-and-blue color-blocking of the dress is exceptionally clean, especially the trimming on the sleeves and the blue gradient of the skirt hem, which is visually very lightweight. To maintain the neatness of the costume, I would tidy up the dress hemline during breaks to prevent wrinkles from affecting the overall look.

During the shoot, I experimented with several different interactions. At the very beginning, I stood next to a wooden bench for a half-body close-up, coordinating with a hand-raising gesture to let the fabric drape naturally, capturing the sheen of the wig. Later at the moon gate, I lightly pulled the cuff of my sleeve with my hand and made a looking-back action, utilizing the white wall as a background frame to make the picture cleaner. Additionally, I sat on the paving stones and grass, or leaned over the landscape rocks, trying to focus my gaze right before the lens; this close-up shooting highly tested expression management, but it also allowed the photos to carry a stronger sense of connection.

The photographer's composition played a major role in this set of photos. We used a large aperture to blur out the background, so that even in complex garden environments, the character subject would stand out prominently. In terms of lighting, the morning side-backlight brought a beautiful rim light effect to the hair, enhancing the texture and translucency of the white hair. During post-color grading, I preferred to retain the original colors of the shot, only making a slight brightening adjustment and slightly darkening the green of the background, making the light-colored clothes stand out through color contrast without adding too many filters, thereby avoiding destroying the original airy feel. This is a very satisfying result of our Cosplay photography session.

The overall environment of Guilin Park is very orderly, and there are plenty of corners suitable for cosplay locations. Although the temperature on the day of the shoot was a bit high, we could still capture excellent lighting under the tree shade. The time and site planning for this outdoor shoot were quite reasonable, and our performance wasn't compromised due to rushing the schedule. Because the skirt is relatively large, walking around outdoors was slightly inconvenient, but it is precisely this type of long skirt hemline that presents a wonderful sense of layering when sitting down on the stone steps. After the entire photo set was completed, the careful planning from the conceptual phase truly felt tangible. There are no overly complex special effects or unnatural staged traces, but rather a naturally flowing, elegant style, which I hope brings everyone some visual comfort.
