A busy night—this is truly the 'day job' of Sizhidao. Starting from evening makeup touch-ups, we shot all the way until the streetlights lit up the deep night. I had planned this black, white, and red outfit for a long time and finally wore it on the shooting day. Under the night sky, the flash reflections created a striking contrast against the cool-toned backdrop. Paired with red eye makeup and red pupils, capturing that slightly provocative mesugaki aura came effortlessly.

During the shoot, squatting or half-crouching while striking poses that looked effortless but were physically demanding was tough, with the straps around the thighs and the rips in the Ripped jeans driving the frame's visual tension. The white studded belt and the black Strappy outfit elements across the body are the soul of this look—sitting at just the right proportion around the waist to accentuate the waistline without cluttering the focal point. The outerwear is an oversized leather jacket lined with a red-and-black argyle pattern, while long fringe hanging from the neckline and a choker added a touch of punk style. Paired with beige platform shoes, the whole look appeared slender and distinctive. This signature outfit truly achieved ideal results in the night view.

I documented the behind-the-scenes process with my phone while everyone communicated details diligently. The photographer was very adept with hard lighting in this setting; the direct flash instantly illuminated the subject while perfectly subduing the dim background. Shooting an Anime-style portrait in a night scene truly tests lighting control, and fortunately, we found the right metering point promptly. From crouching to standing and low-angle upward shots, my favorite composition remains the crouching pose making hand gestures. The posture is open and relaxed, showcasing the leg lines and red waist details completely.

Without needing to cosplay a specific character and purely shaping my own aesthetic, the shooting process was far more relaxed, making candid snapshots feel much more natural and energetic than posed ones. The nighttime railings, distant glittering lights, and crisp cool breeze were irreplaceable backdrops for this shoot. As a high-quality Night view cosplay photography record, this set not only realized the desired visual aura but also preserved precious memories of this night. Special thanks to photographer Pulao for capturing these shots, and to friends who helped with lighting and fixing clothes. Next time, I'll find a location with a more industrial vibe to shoot this look again.
