These Red and black pajamas are the core of this look. The main body features translucent red tulle spliced with a black mini-skirt, edged with delicate lace ruffles. The large black ribbon bow on the chest and thin strap design elevate the overall visual layering, feeling lightweight and breathable when worn. For makeup, to suit Taihou's temperament, I chose red colored contacts and long black hair styled into twin tails with red ribbons. The overall makeup leaned clear and luminous, paired with subtle red blush to present an alluring yet intimate feel. The shooting location was specifically chosen on a vintage leather sofa, where the reddish-brown curtains in the background and wooden floor textures perfectly complemented the high saturation of the red outfit.
During the shoot, the focus was on using body posture to naturally showcase costume details. For example, kneeling on the sofa flattered the leg lines and elongated the body silhouette, while folding hands together drew the viewer's focus to the facial features and neckline details. Sitting sideways or leaning forward allowed for a more direct presentation of the lace texture and streamlined silhouette, looking effortlessly relaxed and natural.
In terms of lighting, warm yellow key lights were combined with red ambient fill light from the side, which enhanced the translucent fairness of the skin while dropping background exposure to highlight the subject. Post-processing focused on adjusting the red-black contrast, keeping the skin tone clear and transparent while preserving hair texture. This styling not only stayed true to the 2D design in costume details, but also invested thought into building the atmosphere, making it a comprehensive and well-targeted shoot. The overall outcome carries a vintage and intimate vibe, which I am very satisfied with in capturing the character's unique traits.
