Stepping into the Shenyang Northern Border Comic Convention with this magnetic levitation Greatsword prop in hand was the moment I truly experienced the physical weight behind her thematic concept.

Regarding this Genshin Impact Sandrone Cosplay (the Marionette), the sheer volume of details from wig to garment accessories is immense. This double-ended Greatsword prop in particular is not only exaggerated in scale, but its center of gravity is also a major headache. To present the character effortlessly wielding her weapon before the camera, I had to repeatedly adjust leverage points across my arms while posing. If you cosplay frequently, you probably know that feeling of looking calm on the outside while your muscles ache inside. I relied heavily on the guard structure of the greatsword combined with body leaning angles so it wouldn't look like I was hoisting a heavy dumbbell. The three poses shown in the photos are forward holding, angled lifting, and sitting; each grip corresponds to different leverage points. The seated shot offered a moment of physical relief, making it slightly easier to capture.

The overall costume color palette revolves around black, white, and orange, accented with hints of red. The off-shoulder detached sleeves proved fairly convenient while navigating the convention floor without restricting arm movement. White tights paired with red lace-up high heels visually elongated leg lines, though walking through crowded convention halls required paying strict attention to floor evenness. The neck bowtie and red gemstone chest ornament heightened the overall fantasy aesthetic. During shooting, the photographer intentionally utilized a dark background to pop the light-colored wig and white tights, applying a wide aperture bokeh to blur out the cluttered background environment.

Selecting the shot of lifting the greatsword at an angle as the cover photo was because it offers the most complete structural presentation of the entire outfit. A cross-legged posture combined with the weapon's diagonal extension forms a graceful diagonal composition across the frame, naturally capturing white tights, shoe buckles, and the orange skirt train within view. Headpiece and hair strand details aligned naturally as well. I initially worried this weapon prop might look clunky on camera, but after repeatedly testing angles, we successfully captured that envisioned sense of intimidating presence.

The atmosphere at the Shenyang Northern Border Comic Convention is always fantastic. Many fellow fans at the venue paid attention to prop details, and some came up to ask how the glowing weapon mechanism worked. Though putting on and taking off this full set of gear was cumbersome, spending a full day suited up at the convention venue brought immense achievement. Whether adjusting light reflections or utilizing dark backdrops to accentuate the weapon's blue illumination, these Convention photos successfully met my expectations in reproducing character details. Rest time after shooting is precious, yet I look forward to bringing even better works next time.
