This time, I challenged Lynette's Lily of the Valley Waltz look, choosing a real-scene shoot by the river. The willow branches hung very low and the water surface was shimmering with ripples, which paired with this blue and white gradient skirt hem to create an unexpectedly well-matched overall atmosphere. There are many details in the costume, especially the large black bowknot on the back and the fluffy tail, which carry a very realistic texture under natural light, and the skirt hem and ribbons move along whenever I walk. In my hands, I held a bouquet of lilies of the valley as a prop, which both echoes the character's name and adds some soft elements. The most interesting part of anime cosplay is letting a 2D character step out of the screen through the combination of costumes, makeup, props, and scenes. This time, the photographer was excellent at catching the light; the reflection from the water hit the dress and hair, infusing the entire set of photos with a refreshing feel. The makeup deliberately emphasized the eye makeup and the little mark on the face, striving to restore the character's demeanor. Although walking around the grass and water edge in a dress required extra care against slipping, seeing that lightweight and agile feel in the final photos makes me feel everything was completely worth it. Immersed in the early summer sunshine and water vapor, the lily of the valley in hand and the lily of the valley elements on the outfit complement each other beautifully—this kind of vibrant riverside photography is truly healing. I hope to pass on this elegance and playfulness belonging to Lynette to everyone.
