It got scorching hot midway through the shoot; beads of sweat kept rolling down inside the wig cap. This Pink hair wig is quite thick and long, with the drooping bangs almost entirely obscuring my right eye so that I had to tilt my head slightly just to see the path. The makeup was set well in advance; wearing contact lenses all afternoon to recreate the character's Purple eyes left my eyes feeling rather dry. The location Master Xiao Xiexin found today was a botanical corner inside a café—the chalkboard sign reading 'Plant Talk' in the background served as a natural prop, perfectly pairing with the anthuriums and green foliage to create a moody, low-key atmosphere.

Today's shooting schedule was packed tightly. Beyond this daily uniform, there were two other outfits to change into, making it physically exhausting. During a break, I casually leaned against the cabinet, and Master Xiao said, 'Senpai, take a rest if you're tired,' which serendipitously caught that exact expression. At that moment, I happened to hold a book in one hand with the collar slightly loosened, combining the white shirt, black vest, and red tie with sleeves rolled up halfway over the blue jacket—this relaxed, slightly weary state resonated remarkably well with the character concept.

Sometimes, forcing a stiff expression only makes the frame look rigid; taking an organic breather during a hectic shoot to face the lens with complete relaxation often yields far more natural results. The pink-and-purple palette popped vividly against the dark background, while the fabric texture harmonized with the color tones—as soft fill light hit my face, my expression and gaze gradually softened. Photoshoots are truly demanding physical work, especially while wearing a fitted vest where the back must stay straight; maintaining poses for hours is no small feat. Yet seeing that relatable fatigue captured in the final photos made all the sweat worthwhile. This was a unique Anime cosplay experience that directly documented the most authentic behind-the-scenes moments.
