[Navia cosplay] Genshin Impact: The Spina di Rosula President's Vintage Study Stroll

I was finally able to bring Navia's look to life in full. From preparing the outfit to the final shoot, it took a great deal of effort. Holding this costume from Genshin Impact's Spina di Rosula in hand, it felt remarkably substantial. The dark blue velvet top in particular was heavily adorned with metal pieces and gemstone embellishments. Those golden four-pointed stars and blue gems were all hand-sewn. Putting it all on took some time, but the texture once worn was extraordinary. The tangerine skirt is richly layered with distinct cuts in the front and back, giving it wonderful dynamic movement when walking.

To capture the character's demeanor, makeup and wig styling were refined over many adjustments. Blue contacts and long wavy blonde hair faithfully matched the design. I deepened the contour at the outer corners of my eyes and opted for a vibrant orange-red lip color to give the overall makeup a brighter finish.

The location was set in a vintage study featuring solid wood bookshelves, desk lamps, candelabras, and deep crimson curtains—environmental elements that perfectly suit her status as a young mistress. The weather was pleasant that day; natural light streamed through the red curtains, casting patterns across the wooden floor. During the shoot, I explored different poses to highlight the costume's features, such as sitting at the desk holding a wine goblet with one hand, or donning sunglasses while holding a red rose. Holding the scepter and metallic floral bouquet, I could genuinely feel the character's poised, confident aura.

For the shot sitting cross-legged on the chair, I specifically asked the photographer for a front-facing angle. The black diamond-patterned stockings and black ankle boots, paired with the voluminous orange skirt, visually elongated my leg lines while highlighting the garment's distinctive geometric elegance. We incorporated numerous props, including a chessboard, parchment maps, and vintage glasses, all of which helped me slip into character quickly. Spending the afternoon in the study, light poured in from the window onto the hat's feathers and gems, creating an exquisite texture.

The hat design is truly unique, featuring a wide brim with golden feather-like patterns, accented on the side with square blue gemstones and pendants. It required a very secure fit on my head to prevent it from sliding down whenever I bowed my head. Collaborating with the photography crew was seamless; the San Miao Photography Studio handled lighting and framing with great precision. The lighting technician added front soft lighting to ensure crisp presentation of facial features and garment textures, while the photographer guided my expressions so I could unwind into the young mistress's daily presence.

I am very pleased with how the final set turned out, successfully capturing this character from the Spina di Rosula. Every photo showcases the distinct textures of the metallic fittings and fabrics under varying light. I look forward to exploring looks for other Spina di Rosula members down the road and continuing to share the joy of cosplay with everyone.
