[Dolia cosplay] Honor of Kings Flash Project, the aqua-blue dreamy girl

The shooting project this time is Dolia from Honor of Kings for the Flash Project. When I first received this outfit, my immediate reaction was that the colors were so translucent, overall featuring a color blocking of light grayish blue and dark blue with a marine vibe. To restore the character's light and airy feel, a lot of effort went into styling this super long aqua-blue wavy curly wig alone. I repeatedly adjusted the ahoge on top of my head many times to give it that naturally curved arc. For the hair accessories, shells, pearls, and fine glitter were chosen, paired with aqua-blue circle lenses and pink-toned blush and eye makeup. The overall makeup leaned as much as possible towards a translucent and agile direction.
The clothing part features a light gray suit jacket with dark blue color blocking at the cuffs, paired with a white shirt and a dark blue tie inside. The lower body is a double-layered plaid pleated skirt, accompanied by a dark belt and golden buckle at the waist. For shoes and socks, white knee-high socks and black thick-soled loafers were chosen. When standing in the pure white studio, the photographer said the overall color contrast was very clean. The cut of this skirt hem is very good, creating natural wrinkle layers when turning, and it can also support a great silhouette when standing on one leg without appearing thin.
The most time-consuming part during the shooting process was adjusting the poses. To express the character's lively yet slightly naive traits, I tried spreading my arms to welcome the camera, standing on a circular platform with one leg raised, and pushing both hands slightly forward. Under the even soft light of the cyclorama wall, I needed to constantly pay attention to the dynamics of the wig. Because the hair volume is huge, a slight shift in angle could capture that fluttering sense of being gently blown by the wind. Wearing thick-soled shoes and maintaining an on-tiptoe posture for a long time was indeed somewhat tiring, but seeing the lighting and shadow effects of the finished shots on the monitor, I truly felt it was all worth it.
Unlike previous flat photoshoots, the theme of this Flash Project emphasizes a dreamy stage vibe. I tried my best to maintain the focus of my eyes in front of the camera, using winks and micro-expressions to enrich the emotional expression of the frame. This styling is extremely rich in details, whether it's the plaid texture of the skirt hem or the texture of the metal buckles on the cuffs, both have great layering. Thanks to the entire photography and logistics team for their coordination in lighting and set design, decorating the studio like a pure white space without impurities, which happened to highlight the vibrancy of the aqua-blue long hair.
After the shoot ended, removing the heavy wig made me feel much lighter. Looking at those frozen moments while organizing the photos, I felt like I was back in that fantasy-filled Honor of Kings continent. I hope this interpretation of Dolia allows everyone to feel the charm of the character.
