This Goddess of Victory Alice cosplay centers entirely on the theme of a dreamy pink fairy-tale tea party. To match Alice's original concept, I chose to shoot inside a pink-toned claw machine, surrounded by an abundance of plushies and cloud-like white cotton batting to cultivate Alice's signature dreamlike atmosphere.
For makeup and styling, long pastel-pink hair and white bunny-ear hair accessories were used to faithfully recreate the character's defining traits. The outfit consists of a white lace camisole dress paired with translucent materials and over-the-knee White stockings. This sheer white tulle looked fantastic against the pink backdrop, and the white over-the-knee stockings beautifully accentuated the smooth contours of the legs. To interact with the claw machine, giant pink rabbit, and clear dessert stand, I planned a variety of prop-focused poses—such as sitting inside the machine with legs casually crossed, or hugging the giant white bunny—which highlighted the dress design while showcasing slender legs.
During the shoot, the photographer utilized low-angle and upward-tilted framing, incorporating foreground cotton and plush bunnies to add layered depth. Because the setting had numerous elements, finding the right camera position was vital to prevent the subject from being pushed to the edges, requiring constant adjustments to leg placement to elongate proportions within the frame.
In post-production, I used Pixel cake for detailed color grading, focusing on lifting pink brightness and infusing skin tones with clear translucency. Utilizing anime-style retouching presets and liquify tools to refine face contours and skin texture gave the finished set an illustration-like, airy clarity. Pixel cake is wonderfully effective for this kind of sweet-aesthetic Anime cosplay set, efficiently balancing lighting and tones to make images appear dreamy and pure. The photos also retain a gentle hazy softness reminiscent of looking through claw machine glass, pushing the atmosphere to the max. Lately, I have been drawn to this bright, soft pink-and-white style, and I truly love how these photos turned out.
