[Anne Lester cosplay] Identity V Toy Merchant's Happy Children's Day Share

Tossing items to teammates in Duo Hunters has always been the reason I favor Anne Lester, and this Children's Day themed shoot was visually framed around the concept of "the toy box is loaded." The concept of pairing vintage elegance with destructive firearms set the tone before the shoot even began. Preparing the wardrobe took tremendous effort: the pale blue vintage dress, multi-layered lace ruffles, delicate lace veil hat, and blue block heels worn with White stockings all worked together to faithfully capture the Toy Merchant's dark fairytale dream. The prop crew specially prepared a hefty tactical rifle prop to create a sharp visual contrast. For the first shot, I chose a seated floor pose from a low angle, adjusting the spread of the skirt to elongate leg lines and accentuate the texture of the legs in White stockings, crafting a cluttered yet oppressive tension across the vintage floral rug. The background was arranged in a room furnished with a piano and vintage tablecloth, while scattered footballs, books, and bottles added an absurd yet lived-in atmosphere that felt like breaking the fourth wall. Lighting relied on side rim lighting paired with shadows cast by a flashlight, making the character look as though she were stepping into the spotlight while lurking in the shadows waiting for her moment. The rifle was genuinely heavy; keeping it steady while maintaining an effortless, composed demeanor tested both my stamina and facial expression control. Merging the Children's Day theme with playful quips was a fun way to interact across dimensions, and the greatest joy of this shoot was conveying this relaxed, teasing mindset through a character I adore. We encountered several challenges during the shoot, such as managing the drape of the skirt within a busy scene and catching the right angle for light filtering through the veil, but the photographer was incredibly patient. Overall, it was a highly challenging yet rewarding shoot.
