This Studio shoot finished set features a white and blue outfit. When creating this piece, the goal was to capture a quiet and elegant state, with the staff and magic book props fitting the character's background setting perfectly. In the studio, we used large white sheer curtains and light-colored flowers as a backdrop, keeping the lighting very soft. The costume's fabric texture is refined—white as the main color accented with dark blue and gold thread embellishments, providing a crisp, clean visual experience. Combined with white ankle boots and white stockings, the overall layering became wonderfully rich. Holding the magic book during shooting made poses feel naturally fluid, whereas holding the staff in another set required fine-tuning wrist and shoulder tension to avoid stiffness.

The wig is styled in voluminous golden-yellow curls. When wearing the hat, extra care was needed to organize the bangs and sideburns to prevent any awkwardness. For makeup, a translucent base was preserved while emphasizing eye contours, giving the gaze a cool, slightly inquisitive expression. During the shoot, I also learned how to better utilize studio props, such as the white-and-gold staff topped with a golden bird motif, which created a unique refraction effect under the lights. The blue cross-knot on the hat was another design detail I deeply loved. Wearing these boots and costume for prolonged shooting spent a lot of physical energy, especially while maintaining a dignified posture. However, seeing the unified color palette and dreamy atmosphere in the finished set made every bit of hard work entirely worth it.

Managing expressions for this outfit was quite challenging—I couldn't smile too deliberately, nor be overly cold, needing to strike a balance between mystery and gentleness. To achieve the best outcome during prep, I specially adjusted accessory placements, such as the black-and-gold choker and blue tassel knot around my neck, which beautifully complemented the neckline area. On set, I communicated desired camera angles with the photographer, trying out various perspectives: high angles to highlight the head and hat styling, and eye-level shots focused on overall posture. My favorite shot in this set is the one holding the book with one leg slightly raised, showcasing the sleek lines of the white stockings and boots while pairing with an earnest reading expression—making the posture and state feel perfectly tuned.

Shooting this magician-themed cosplay, the most important element was evoking an ethereal, otherworldly uniqueness. Thus, during post-processing color grading, we slightly reduced color saturation while boosting overall brightness and softness, bringing the visuals closer to a dreamscape. Each time I challenge a different cosplay style, it gives me fresh insights into styling and performance. Being able to express my interpretation through this outfit and setting was a joyful and fulfilling experience. I hope to continue diving deep into strongly stylized Studio shoot themes in the future, bringing forth more sincere, detail-oriented works as a tribute to the characters and creations I love.
