[Lynae Cosplay] Wuthering Waves Summer Swimsuit, the Refreshing Feeling in a White Studio - Image 2

This Lynae cosplay photo set is finally sorted out. To capture the refreshing and agile feeling of this character, I specially chose the purest white studio to build the entire set of visuals. Many friends might prefer on-location outdoor shoots with realistic scenery, but I've always felt that white studio photography actually tests the character's styling foundation and expressiveness heavily. Without complex distractions, the entire visual focus is completely concentrated on the character's details, demeanor, and the presentation of the costume fabrics.

Let's talk about the costume details first. For the wig, I chose a light gold base with a spliced hair color, styled with braids on both sides. Paired with white flower headpieces and small cyan hair clips, it beautifully creates a cool summer vibe. The top is a short, loose-cut white off-the-shoulder shirt with simple blue-and-white gradient layers at the chest, tightened with a knot at the waist. Paired with high-waisted distressed blue denim shorts, the overall outfit preserves the lightness of an anime character while fitting the casual sense of a summer swimsuit setting. To enrich the visual layers, the cyan ribbon and white flowers at the waist, along with the white thigh ring, serve as great accents. For the makeup, I intentionally kept the base clean and translucent, using orange-toned blush to emphasize vitality, and the eyeshadow used colors close to water ripples, leaning overall toward a clear and translucent look.

During the shoot, the photographer also gave me plenty of room to express myself. Picture 2 is a raw shot straight out of the white studio; I think this clean and authentic texture is perfect for showing a casual daily share state, where the composition's center of gravity is stable, the poses are relaxed, and there are no chaotic edges, so I personally prefer using it as the main image. As for Picture 1, I added some blue special effect stickers and neon lighting effects to create a visual impact like a game UI, which can be seen as an extension of the tone—after all, the game special effects of Wuthering Waves itself are incredibly cool.

For the character Lynae, I've been pondering her inner personality core; she possesses a trait where vitality and frankness coexist. Therefore, in front of the lens, I tried my best to keep my facial features and expressions natural and relaxed. The peace sign pose is actually meant to convey a relaxed and casual attitude to my followers. This attempt at white studio photography can also be considered a breakthrough for me in cosplay photography. In the past, I might have relied on ambient environmental light, but this time I relied more on artificial light sources to shape the contours, which also gave me more insights into grasping the character's physique. Lastly, I have to say that a white studio truly demands a lot regarding body shape and posture, but being able to present a clean and refreshing visual effect makes sweating a bit beforehand completely worth it.
