Taking on Kisaki for this shoot centered primarily on capturing her calm yet quietly intimidating presence. The wardrobe featured a custom-tailored navy modified Qipao with exquisite gold dragon embroidery; fitting sessions took considerable effort to ensure it hugged body curves cleanly. The grey pinstriped suit jacket was draped over my shoulders rather than worn through the sleeves, projecting effortless authority. Black stockings and high heels served as the foundational elements for elongating leg lines; finding the ideal angle to catch the subtle sheen of the hosiery under strobes required continuous leg adjustments, while the vintage leather suitcase beside me deepened her enigmatic mystique. The location was set before traditional heritage architecture featuring carved dragon pillars and heavy timber doors, where stone steps complemented the dark ensemble perfectly. Diffused bounce lighting softened harsh shadows, rendering dewy skin textures while bringing out the weave of the dress fabric.

While the two selected shots appear similar, subtle shifts in camera angles establish entirely distinct moods. The first frame captures a sharp, predatory backward glance full of poised assertiveness; the second employs a seated low angle on the stone steps that elongates the legs, showcasing the fluid harmony of the Black stockings, heels, and silhouette—which made it the clear choice for the cover.
