Before setting out, I actually hesitated for a long time over the accessory pairings for this look, and finally decided to carry that plush bear backpack out. I didn't expect it to become a wonderful interactive prop during the shoot. That day, we found a corner where the railing and steps intersected on the riverside walkway. The light coming from the side was just right to outline the highlights of my blonde hair, and my twin tails and blue hair scrunchies carried a great sense of dynamism in the wind. My habit is to try not to strike overly deliberate poses. For example, leaning against the stone railing while cradling my chin with one hand, or squatting down to rest my chin on my crossed backs of my hands while letting the bear bag drape naturally at my side—this makes the resulting convention photos look much more relaxed. Actually, I was wearing that beige knit sweater at the beginning, but later, to match the plaid texture of the skirt and the pink of the shirt, I just tied it around my waist, which added a bit of layering instead. As we shot toward the end, the sunset started changing colors, so I tried leaning over the railing toward the camera. The light, shadow, and texture of the black semi-sheer socks in the raw photos were completely on point, and the reflection on the dark leather shoes on my feet was also very clear. The angle of the light and the photographer's candid capture speed were both quite important; many moments were accidentally intercepted when turning my head, fiddling with the hair ends, or turning around. Also, large blue earrings like these are actually quite picky about angles, but under this hair color, it unexpectedly pops out. The entire shoot took about an hour or so under this convention photography session. We didn't deliberately chase absolute refinement; rather, this kind of convention photography log under natural light could better restore the authentic atmosphere of strolling by the riverbank that day. The photographer's composition also helped a lot, such as those dynamic captures from a tilted angle, framing the fluttering edges of the skirt and the leg lines very comfortably. As a set of convention photos brought along from an event, there weren't too many gorgeous backdrops, but everyday elements like the riverbank, the iron tower, and green trees made the character feel closer to a slice of life instead. In post-processing, I also only slightly adjusted the color temperature and brightness to keep the tones of the pink shirt and red bow tie crisp, without doing excessive skin smoothing, because the texture of the black socks and plaid skirt already looked highly appealing under the sun. Looking forward to finding similar scenes next time, switching to a more casual outfit to continue doing convention photography.
