[Doctor cosplay] Arknights: Tactical Blade Under Wasteland Style Industrial Ruins

The design details of this Mechanical scythe are extraordinarily rich, especially the complex gear mechanisms and discs at the handle. To faithfully recreate its texture and weight, considerable thought went into the material selection. The cut of the harness straps and shorts was tailored to fit the tactical techwear setting; bare legs paired with thigh straps visually elongated the silhouette, perfectly matching the combat positioning of the 'Doctor' navigating swiftly through ruins. The photoshoot location was chosen on an industrial steel bridge marked with rust and rivets. Natural light filtering through the gaps in the bridge deck cast onto the face, creating a distinct, chilly atmosphere. In particular, the low-angle shot holding the prop with one hand, combined with the bridge structure in the background, beautifully stretched the visual proportions. Special thanks to the photographer's direction—in such an extremely cramped space, they managed to avoid foreground clutter while balancing the dynamic lines of me holding heavy equipment.

The biggest challenge of this Doctor cosplay shoot was actually the authentic environment: the abandoned industrial ground was covered in gravel and weeds, and with the heavy prop, moving around was far from effortless. To capture the optimal angles, we repeatedly tested various standing and sitting poses beneath the bridge, where adjusting the leg center of gravity was crucial. We also encountered minor hiccups during the shoot, such as sore arms from the heavy scythe forcing mid-shoot breaks, but thanks to seamless chemistry, we completed this cool-toned Wasteland style series. In terms of styling, the wig trimming and fringe curvature were carefully shaped to convey the character's calm, decisive aura. The overall gray-and-black palette blended seamlessly with the cool tones of the background, bringing forth a unique visual atmosphere filled with tactical Cyberpunk charm.
